With just \u2064over a\u2063 week until Election Day, Harris \u200bhas shifted\u200c her tactics to focus \u2063on attacking \u200dher rival,\u2064 former President Donald\u200c Trump, alleging he resembles Adolf Hitler and\u2063 is\u2064 akin to a fascist. Harris&#8217;s campaign began only \u200bin July, while Trump has \u200cbeen \u2062campaigning\u2064 since November \u20632022, recently holding a rally in Madison Square\u2063 Garden.<\/p>\n<p>Bedford noted that \u2062the Democratic\u2063 strategy appears less about \u200dpromoting Harris and more about rallying the party&#8217;s base by instilling fear about Trump and his rallies,\u200d which she described as a \u200bsign that the &#8220;persuasion \u2063period&#8221; \u2062of the election has effectively \u200cended. That&rsquo;s not what&nbsp;we hear from Kamala Harris,&rdquo; Bedford said. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s just&nbsp;about scaring voters into voting&nbsp;against Donald Trump at this&nbsp;point because that is the only&nbsp;card she has left to play this&nbsp;late in the game. She&rsquo;s just out of&nbsp;runway.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>This strategy comes as the slight lead Harris once held is slipping away.
