but expected &mdash; damper on fan excitement when it comes to one of the forefathers of the superhero movie genre.<\/p>\n<p>During a time where a struggling Disney desperately needs a win in the wake of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/boycott-disney-new-marvel-show-hyped-gayest-show-yet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poorly received<\/a> (or outright <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/disney-pulls-plug-wokest-star-wars-project-ever-fans-revolt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">canceled<\/a>) major projects, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/disney-slammed-evil-attempting-use-disney-technicality-quash-widowers-wrongful-death-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">horrific public relations<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/star-upcoming-snow-white-movie-creates-headache-disney-stabs-co-star-back-free-palestine-declaration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">all sorts<\/a> of issues at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/year-flopbuster-2023s-10-biggest-box-office-failures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the box office<\/a>, one of its most potent vessels for recapturing that magic appears to have been shelved &mdash; with no return date in sight.<\/p>\n<p>According to a somber report from <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/10\/blade-predator-badlands-disney-release-dates-1236144383\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Deadline<\/a>, Disney has removed the also-struggling film &ldquo;Blade&rdquo; from its upcoming 2025 release calendar.<\/p>\n<p>(The film was originally slated for a Nov. 7, 2025 release date.)<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Blade,&rdquo; which is about the titular black vampire hunter (and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/disney-plus-hosts-pride-event-featuring-kermit-the-frog\/\" title=\"Disney Plus Hosts Pride Event Featuring Kermit The Frog\">half-vampire<\/a> himself), was first formally announced by Marvel Studios in 2019 &mdash; saw its <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">original filming timeline completely derailed<\/a> by the COVID-19 pandemic that saw swathes of the civilized world shut down in response.<\/p>\n<p>Secondly, &ldquo;Blade&rdquo; has also survived a pair of strikes (one for actors and one for writers) that rocked Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p>Third, the film has seen not one, but two directors depart the project since its inception &mdash; never a great sign when it comes to continuity in a film.<\/p>\n<p>Fans of &ldquo;Blade&rdquo; won&rsquo;t find much solace in the Deadline report, as it effectively stated that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige&rsquo;s desire to create a perfect &ldquo;Blade&rdquo; movie outweighs any timetable or road map.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;For Marvel Boss Kevin Feige, it&rsquo;s important to make the best Blade movie ever,&rdquo; the report noted. &ldquo;The studio won&rsquo;t make the movie until they&rsquo;ve cracked a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mans-life-turns-into-nightmare-after-identity-theft-authorities-refused-to-believe-him-judge-ordered-stay-in-psych-ward\/\" title=\"Identity theft nightmare turns man&#039;s life upside down;
