In 2020, it was $5.61 to President Joe Biden for every buck to Trump.<\/p>\n<p>And it is likely to be similar this year, according to an analysis from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.needtosharenews.com\/exclusive-reports--posts\/democrats-only-lawyers-need-apply-for-president\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Mark Sauter<\/a> of <em>Need to Share News<\/em>. He said Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/3203291\/harris-nonexistent-law-enforcement-credentials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Kamala Harris<\/a> continues a 40-year line of Democratic presidential nominees who are lawyers, starting with Walter Mondale.<\/p>\n<p>He found that Republicans appear to turn their noses up to lawyers, nominating mostly businessmen and politicians. The exceptions were the late Sen. Bob Dole in 1996 and Mitt Romney in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Put another way, 100% of Democratic presidential nominees since 1984 have been lawyers, compared with approximately 18% of Republicans.
