A spokesman for the second gentleman previously denied the slapping allegation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.semafor.com\/newsletter\/10\/03\/2024\/family-feud\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"saying\">saying<\/a> that &ldquo;this report is untrue&rdquo; and that &ldquo;any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The woman, whom the <em>Daily Mail <\/em>is identifying only as Jane, said she met Emhoff on Match.com in 2012 and that he invited his son Cole to join them on their first date.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>She said the relationship, which ended before Emhoff met Harris, was intense for a few months and he spoke openly about marrying her and having children. The slapping incident reportedly occurred because Emhoff thought the woman was hitting on a valet driver.
