As The Federalist&rsquo;s Tristan Justice previously&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/10\/02\/report-kamala-harris-husband-allegedly-slapped-ex-girlfriend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">noted<\/a>, three friends of the alleged victim claimed to the Daily Mail that Emhoff &mdash; the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris &mdash; &ldquo;struck the woman named under the pseudonym &lsquo;Jane&rsquo; following a glitzy night out at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in France.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d9c44c58565cfab47ef43835e8c10277 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d9c44c58565cfab47ef43835e8c10277\"><\/div>\n<p>The alleged victim&rsquo;s friends also provided photos, &ldquo;other documents and communications corroborating elements of the story,&rdquo; according to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-13898791\/Kamala-Harris-husband-Doug-Emhoff-accused-ex-girlfriend-slap.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">outlet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Described by the Daily Mail as a &ldquo;successful New York attorney,&rdquo; the accuser <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-13981101\/doug-emhoff-ex-girlfriend-slap-flirt-allegations-kamala-harris.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reportedly<\/a> did not want to go on the record at the time the outlet published its first story on the alleged incident. According to the Daily Mail, she changed her mind after witnessing Emhoff&rsquo;s &ldquo;alleged hypocrisy by claiming to be a feminist in media interviews, [which] finally became too much for her.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;What&rsquo;s frightening for a woman that&rsquo;s been on the other end of it, is watching this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/doug-emhoff-accuser-breaks-her-silence-for-the-first-time-i-saw-his-dark-side\/\" title=\"Doug Emhoff Accuser Breaks Her Silence for the First Time: &#039;I Saw His Dark Side&#039;\">completely fabricated persona<\/a> being portrayed,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;He&rsquo;s being held out to be the antithesis of who he actually is. And that is utterly shocking.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Emhoff is a central figure in his wife&rsquo;s presidential campaign, and legacy media have <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/10\/02\/report-kamala-harris-husband-allegedly-slapped-ex-girlfriend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">attempted<\/a> to cast him as a model of masculinity and a champion of women.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-e8ba65f9cafe79880eef0c241c437f9c fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-e8ba65f9cafe79880eef0c241c437f9c\"><\/div>\n<p>The second gentleman has yet to directly deny the allegations made against him. While he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-13898791\/Kamala-Harris-husband-Doug-Emhoff-accused-ex-girlfriend-slap.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reportedly<\/a> didn&rsquo;t respond to the Daily Mail&rsquo;s request for comment on its initial story, an Emhoff spokesman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.megynkelly.com\/2024\/10\/04\/megyn-kelly-reacts-to-doug-emhoff-denial-of-abuse-allegations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.semafor.com\/newsletter\/10\/03\/2024\/family-feud\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Semafor<\/a>, &ldquo;this report is untrue&rdquo; and &ldquo;any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The claims were subtly touched upon during Emhoff&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/10\/11\/kamala-harris-husband-doesnt-deny-allegations-he-slapped-his-ex-girlfriend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recent MSNBC interview<\/a>, in which network host Joe Scarborough indirectly classified the Daily Mail&rsquo;s reporting as &ldquo;misinformation&rdquo; that&rsquo;s being promoted by Donald Trump. Harris&rsquo; husband agreed, calling it a &ldquo;distraction.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with the Daily Mail, the New York attorney <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-13981101\/doug-emhoff-ex-girlfriend-slap-flirt-allegations-kamala-harris.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">expressed outrage<\/a> at the lack of media coverage of <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/05\/kamala-harris-nanny-impregnating-husband-is-the-poster-child-for-toxic-masculinity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reports<\/a> that Emhoff impregnated his daughter&rsquo;s nanny at the time he was married to his now-ex-wife. The second gentleman previously confirmed his infidelity, although it is unclear if the alleged child was killed via abortion, given up for adoption, or lost as the result of a miscarriage.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve been telling this story to my friends. And I kept saying, this is a big deal, why doesn&rsquo;t anybody in the media care? And apparently nobody did,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;Not a single reporter has directly asked Doug about these allegations.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-af06891ee8a36092afedc2007cb3a454 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-af06891ee8a36092afedc2007cb3a454\"><\/div>\n<p>The ex-girlfriend denied her allegations are politically motivated, contending she and her husband are registered Democrats and previously voted for and donated to Joe Biden during the 2020 election.
