But the race has trended 2 points in his favor since the start of the month, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/nevada\/trump-vs-harris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">according to<\/a> a <em>RealClearPolitics<\/em> average.<\/p>\n<p>Brown, a combat veteran challenging first-term Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV), still has ground to make up. He is 7 points behind in Senate Leadership Fund polling <a href=\"https:\/\/static.politico.com\/79\/e9\/eaf701084e77be9afaa85356e3b8\/slf-october-memo.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">leaked<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>But Republicans have been encouraged by their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/republicans-early-voting-lead-nevada-unheard-1974267\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">ballot advantage<\/a> in the first days of early voting in Nevada, a practice typically dominated by the Democrats.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Republican presidential nominee former President Donald Trump listens as Republican senatorial candidate Sam Brown speaks during a campaign event at the World Market Center, Friday, Sept.13, 2024, in Las Vegas.
