This\u200c ruling comes as part\u2063 of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republican-canvassers-rescind-their-votes-to-certify-wayne-county-michigan-results\/\" title=\"Republican Canvassers Rescind Their Votes to Certify Wayne County, Michigan, Results\">legal action<\/a> in which Giuliani must pay nearly $150 million for defaming \u200cthe two workers. The items Giuliani is required to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">relinquish include valuable memorabilia<\/a> such as \u200dwatches gifted by\u2064 European leaders after 9\/11, a signed Joe DiMaggio\u200d jersey, a vintage car that\u200c once belonged to actress Lauren Bacall, and various pieces of furniture and jewelry. Judge Liman is also considering whether Giuliani will need to surrender his Palm Beach condominium and New York Yankees World Series\u2063 rings. He must also hand over a slew of his most prized possessions, including watches gifted to him by European presidents after the 9\/11 terrorist attacks, a signed Joe DiMaggio jersey, a vintage car once owned by Hollywood star Lauren Bacall, and other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/son-of-nfl-star-arrested-for-stealing-fathers-super-bowl-rings\/\" title=\"Son Of NFL Star Arrested For Stealing Father\u2019s Super Bowl Rings\">sports memorabilia<\/a>. (AP Photo\/Seth Wenig)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Liman is still deciding whether Giuliani will have to hand over his Palm Beach condominium and his New York Yankees World Series rings that his son Andrew said were gifted to him.<\/p>\n<p>All items listed in the lawsuit must be handed over to a receivership within seven days of filing.<\/p>\n<p>Liman acknowledged the sentimental value of some of the items but argued the defendant had not properly proven it.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The burden is on the judgment debtor to show that property is exempt, and Defendant has not satisfied that burden,&rdquo; he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>In December, a federal jury ordered Giuliani to pay the astronomical sum of nearly $150 million for his comments about Freeman and Moss. This includes $16.2 million to Freeman for defamation, $17 million to Moss for defamation, $20 million to each for emotional distress, and another $75 million in punitive damages.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Giuliani&rsquo;s net worth in 2023 was estimated to be somewhere below $50 million, possibly significantly below, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/rudy-giuliani-net-worth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"according to\">according to<\/a> CBS News.<\/p>\n<p>The former New York City mayor and presidential candidate has faced financial and reputational ruin over his actions during the 2020 election, in which he helped lead former President Donald Trump&rsquo;s team&rsquo;s investigation into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-exclusive-accurate-list-of-2020-election-fraud-cases-shows-81-cases-total-30-still-active-and-not-one-single-court-has-allowed-evidence-to-be-argued\/\" title=\"BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Accurate List of 2020 Election Fraud Cases Shows 81 Cases Total, 30 Still Active \u2013 And NOT ONE SINGLE COURT Has Allowed Evidence to be Argued\">alleged election fraud<\/a>.
