According\u2062 to a recent Gallup poll, 50% of respondents rated Trump favorably, \u200cwhich is an\u2062 improvement from his\u2064 previous campaigns in 2016 and 2020, where only \u200d36% and 47% rated \u200chim favorably, respectively. In contrast, Vice President Kamala Harris holds\u200b a net\u200d negative \u2062rating, with 50% unfavorably\u200c rating \u200cher compared to 48% favorably. This marks a decline from other Democratic leaders, like President Joe Biden, who had\u2063 a more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/siena-poll-majority-of-new-yorkers-want-cuomo-replaced\/\" title=\"Siena Poll: Majority of New Yorkers Want Cuomo Replaced\">favorable rating<\/a> in 2020. These figures are higher than in 2020, when 47% rated him favorably and 51% rated him unfavorably, and in 2016, when 36% rated him favorably and 61% rated him unfavorably.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Kamala Harris\">Kamala Harris<\/a> holds a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">net negative favorable rating<\/a> in the survey, with 50% of adults rating her unfavorably and 48% rating her favorably. (AP Photo\/Evan Vucci)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Both Trump and Harris&rsquo;s 2024 ratings rank among the lowest in the Gallup poll dating back to 1956, although the survey was not conducted in 1988, 1996, and 2000. The only year in which both candidates&rsquo; favorable ratings were lower than Trump and Harris&rsquo;s 2024 rating was Trump and Clinton&rsquo;s in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The 2024 Gallup poll also showed that Trump had a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nolte-media-fail-biden-and-harris-unfavorable-ratings-worse-than-trumps\/\" title=\"Nolte: Media Fail -- Biden and Harris Unfavorable Ratings Worse than Trump&#039;s\">higher favorable rating<\/a> than his opponent, something he did not have in 2016 or 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The former president has a higher percentage of adults rating him highly favorable, 31%, and highly unfavorable, 37%, than Harris, who had 30% rate her highly favorable and 34% rate her highly unfavorable. <\/p>\n<p>Trump is polling better than Harris in favorability ratings and projections for who will win the most important states. In the <em>RealClearPolitics<\/em> polling average, Trump is leading Harris nationally, 49.3%-48.5% &mdash; marking the first time he has been projected to beat his opponent within two weeks of Election Day in any of his contests.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trump is also leading in all of the battleground states in the RealClearPolitics polling average. In 2016 and 2020, he trailed his Democratic opponent in all but one state at this time in the campaign. Trump led Clinton in the <em>RealClearPolitics<\/em> polling average in Georgia at this time in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The Gallup poll comes two weeks before Election Day. Both the Trump and Harris campaigns are making stops in the battleground states in the race for the White House.
