During the discussion, co-host Sara Haines pointed out that a significant portion of\u2064 Americans believes that \u200ca Harris-Walz ticket would bring about change. Can you point to a policy decision over the last four years that you and the vice president would have handled differently from President Biden?&rdquo; she asked.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 100%; max-width: 640px; max-height: 360px; min-width: 320px; min-height: 180px; overflow: hidden;\">\n<div style=\"position: relative; width: 100%; padding-top: 56.25%;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/share.grabien.com\/share.php?id=2653232&amp;userid=11311&amp;loginid=10455&amp;playercolor=%23000000&amp;playersize=auto&amp;code=497368020eaf78bbea592203d3bce46f\" style=\"position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%; border: 0px;\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;This expansion on Medicare is something that I wish would have been proposed sooner, but look, they&rsquo;re tackling the issues that they needed to,&rdquo; Walz responded. &ldquo;They came out of a pandemic that Donald Trump had left a mess for, an economy and supply chains that were broken.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Walz&rsquo;s running mate, Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Kamala Harris\">Kamala Harris<\/a>, previously struggled during her appearance on the ABC News program while highlighting which policies she would do differently from President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Harris <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3180914\/harris-the-view-no-change-biden-policy-republican-cabinet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>had told<\/a><em>  The View<\/em> on Oct. 8 that &ldquo;there is not a thing that comes to mind&rdquo; when asked whether she would&rsquo;ve done anything differently from Biden. She reinforced this in her comments at a campaign rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To be very candid with you, including Mike Pence, vice presidents are not critical of their presidents. I think that really, actually, in terms of the tradition of it and also just going forward, it does not make for a productive and important relationship,&rdquo; she told NBC News correspondent Peter Alexander.<\/p>\n<p>Walz went on to tout the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/carson-points-out-that-every-democratic-plan-has-backfired-in-trumps-favor-as-seen-in-the-bible-2\/\" title=\"Carson points out that every Democratic plan has backfired in Trump&#039;s favor, as seen in the Bible\">vice president&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s matter of &ldquo;affordability on child care&rdquo; and &ldquo;the ability of seniors to get healthcare.&rdquo; He said they hope to protect &ldquo;rural hospitals&rdquo; and prevent &ldquo;ambulance deserts in large parts of America.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I think she&rsquo;s really leaning into these issues that impact people personally and then doubling down on whether it&rsquo;s housing or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">child tax credit<\/a>. Those are pretty big differences,&rdquo; Walz said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;She&rsquo;s her own leader. She&rsquo;s got her own path, own way forward,&rdquo; he added.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When Biden ran in 2020, he also <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/492063-biden-releases-plans-to-expand-medicare-forgive-student-debt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"called for an expansion of Medicare\">called for an expansion of Medicare<\/a> by changing the age to 60. The Harris-Walz campaign has been proposing expanding Medicare to include <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ProtectOurCare\/status\/1846283138646814946\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"in-home care\">in-home care<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Biden also <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CNN\/status\/1678920632568782849\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"previously touted\">previously touted<\/a> that his Biden&rsquo;s Build Back Better Act would help with childcare affordability through a series of proposed measures.
