This was a slight decrease from Sunday&rsquo;s price of $3.311. The price is also slightly lower than a week ago when regular gas cost $3.312. This was a minimal drop from Sunday&rsquo;s price of $3.076. Prices are less expensive than a week ago when regular gas was $3.187 per gallon. However, gas in the state is more expensive than a month ago, when a gallon of regular gas cost $2.978.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Virginia<\/h2>\n<p>The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Virginia fell on Monday, coming in at $3.081. Monday&rsquo;s pricing is less expensive than a week ago in Virginia, when regular gas was $3.131 per gallon.
