Vance (R-OH) drew applause from the crowd after \u200dechoing the phrase &#8220;Jesus is King,&#8221;\u200c which was shouted by an attendee. Vance&#8217;s response, &#8220;That\u2019s right. Jesus is king,&#8221; directly contrasted with Vice President Kamala Harris&#8217;s experience at a separate event where her\u200b speech\u2064 was interrupted by similar \u200dreligious shouts, prompting\u200b her to tell the audience they were at the wrong rally.\u200d Vance has positioned himself\u200d as a defender \u200cof <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/there-is-nothing-equal-about-the-equality-act\/\" title=\"There Is Nothing \u2018Equal\u2019 About The \u2018Equality Act\u2019\">religious rights<\/a>, criticizing Harris as being associated with anti-Christian\u200d bigotry.
