According to Lara Trump, this is all going according to the Trump campaign&rsquo;s plan.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Listen, I have felt a little bit like a broken record over the course of the past several months because all I&rsquo;ve talked about, the messaging you&rsquo;ve heard from Donald Trump, the messaging from the campaign, and the RNC has been: &lsquo;Vote early, vote early.&rsquo; And what we&rsquo;re seeing is that people have heard this, and they are actually executing this,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;This is how we&rsquo;re going to win, guys.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The turnout in North Carolina comes despite Hurricane Helene ravaging parts of the state. Ten days before early voting began, the state&rsquo;s election board&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3180906\/hurricane-helene-elections-north-carolina-georgia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unanimously voted<\/a> to offer more ways to obtain and deliver absentee ballots.<\/p>\n<p>In Georgia, the previous record for early voting was in 2002, when 136,000 votes were cast on the first day.
