Trump&rsquo;s attorneys&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/docket\/67656595\/264\/united-states-v-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">had asked<\/a>&nbsp;Chutkan to delay the release for one month, until Nov. 14, so that they could have time to compile their own evidence to counter whatever Smith has in store.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;If the court withheld information that the public otherwise had a right to access solely because of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/liz-cheney-compares-herself-to-abe-lincoln-after-loss\/\" title=\"Liz Cheney Compares Herself to Abe Lincoln After Loss\">potential political consequences<\/a> of releasing it, that withholding could itself constitute&mdash;or appear to be&mdash;
