In response, UAW member \u2064Dawnya Ferdinansen publicly \u200cissued the challenge, inviting Trump to prove his claims by working \u2064in such an environment rather than speaking about\u200d it without experience. UAW President Shawn Fain <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3185599\/harris-big-labor-trump-working-class\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>spoke at the Democratic National Convention earlier this year<\/a>, warning that Trump is a &ldquo;scab&rdquo; who would betray the labor movement in a heartbeat.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Teamsters President Sean O&rsquo;Brien said in September that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3155618\/teamsters-withholds-endorsement-kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>he would not endorse Harris, nor Trump, in this election<\/a>.
