He\u2063 declared, &#8220;We\u2019re not gonna let it happen,&#8221;\u200b emphasizing the physical advantages that men possess \u2064over women in competitive sports.<\/p>\n<p>Trump referenced \u200ba specific incident involving \u2062a trans athlete, Blaire Fleming, \u2063from \u2063San \u200cJose State\u200c University, who \u200cgained attention for spiking a volleyball that injured a female player\u200c during a match. Trump was asked by an audience member named Linda about how he would approach the issue of men identifying as women competing in women&rsquo;s sports leagues. The Georgia resident said she has nine grandchildren, six of whom are girls and play sports.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-414a85ab7029f88ea3cfa3cd38ab82e2 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-414a85ab7029f88ea3cfa3cd38ab82e2\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re not gonna let it happen,&rdquo; Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TrumpWarRoom\/status\/1846571461101617584\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>. &ldquo;We absolutely stop it. You can&rsquo;t have it. It&rsquo;s a man playing in the game [against women].&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The former president noted the biological and physical advantages men have over women. He also cited a recent incident of a male competing against female athletes.<\/p>\n<p>Trump is seemingly referencing a video shared on social media of a San Jose State University volleyball player who goes by the name Blaire Fleming &mdash; a trans-identifying male &mdash; spiking the ball into the face of his female opponent. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/10\/11\/sports\/transgender-san-jose-state-volleyball-player-whos-provoked-forfeits-spikes-ball-in-opponents-face\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New York Post<\/a>, the video showed San Diego State University junior Keira Herron &ldquo;was knocked down after the hit, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/this-isnt-right-brooke-shields-calls-out-barbara-walters-over-interview-question-when-actress-was-15\/\" title=\"\u2018This Isn\u2019t Right\u2019: Brooke Shields Calls Out Barbara Walters Over Interview Question When Actress Was 15\">crowd audibly gasped<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Female volleyball players whose teams are scheduled to play San Jose State have forfeited their matches in protest of Fleming being allowed to compete against women. On Monday, the University of Nevada volleyball team <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/sports\/university-nevada-volleyball-forfeit-san-jose-state-transgender-blaire-fleming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed<\/a> to Outkick that it&rsquo;s joining the volleyball teams of Southern Utah University, Boise State University, the University of Wyoming, and Utah State University in forfeiting its upcoming match against San Jose State.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-51268d1bdff57f1badec6b63e92e998b fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-51268d1bdff57f1badec6b63e92e998b\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;We demand that our right to safety and fair competition on the court be upheld. We refuse to participate in any match that advances injustice against female athletes,&rdquo; the team&rsquo;s statement reads. <\/p>\n<p>The University of Nevada released its own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/sports\/other\/update-nevada-says-it-will-not-forfeit-volleyball-game-against-team-with-trans-player\/ar-AA1sfO6O\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a> that same day, saying the school will &ldquo;move forward with the match as scheduled,&rdquo; but that &ldquo;the players may choose not to participate in the match on the day of the contest.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>When pressed by Faulkner on how he intends to fulfill his pledge to keep <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/espn-axes-host-who-opposes-men-in-womens-sports\/\" title=\"ESPN Axes Host Who Opposes Men In Women&#039;s Sports\">female-identifying men<\/a> out of women&rsquo;s sports, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TrumpWarRoom\/status\/1846571461101617584\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> he would &ldquo;just ban it,&rdquo; but didn&rsquo;t specify how.<\/p>\n<p>Since coming into office, the Biden-Harris administration has all but declared war on women seeking safe locker rooms and fairness in sports. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1730631fb1ac70006ec00774d845be1d fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1730631fb1ac70006ec00774d845be1d\"><\/div>\n<p>In May 2023, for example, the Education Department proposed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.ed.gov\/about\/offices\/list\/ocr\/docs\/t9-ath-nprm.pdf?utm_content=&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_name=&amp;utm_source=govdelivery&amp;utm_term=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new Title IX rules<\/a>&nbsp;that&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/sports\/2023\/04\/06\/white-house-backs-new-rule-making-illegalcategorically-ban-trans-athletes-sports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">seek<\/a>&nbsp;to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wisconsin-school-district-charges-law-group-11k-for-records-over-a-trans-identifying-male-student-showering-in-front-of-four-girls\/\" title=\"WI School District bills Law Group K for records on Trans-Identifying Male Student Showering with Girls.\">prohibit schools receiving federal funds<\/a> from enforcing policies preventing men from competing in women&rsquo;s sports.
