Kennedy Jr.<\/a> suggested he would have a role in a second Trump administration.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>Kennedy, an anti-vaccine proponent and environmental lawyer, recently launched his own take on the &ldquo;Make America Great Again&rdquo; campaign with &ldquo;Make America Healthy Again.&rdquo; In August, Kennedy suspended his presidential campaign and endorsed former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking outside the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Department-of-Agriculture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Department of Agriculture<\/a> headquarters in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/washington-dc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Washington, D.C.<\/a>, Kennedy listed off a series of policy ideas he had for the food industry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;When Donald Trump gets me inside the building I&rsquo;m standing outside of right now, it won&rsquo;t be this way anymore. You know who&rsquo;s going to do that? RFK Jr. He&rsquo;s got some good ideas,&rdquo; Trump said at a recent rally in Reading, Pennsylvania. Kennedy is also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/trump-adds-rfk-jr-gabbard-transition-team-2024-08-27\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>on Trump&rsquo;s transition team<\/a>, should he win the November election.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy&rsquo;s campaign told the HBO show <em>Last Week Tonight <\/em>in August that Trump and Kennedy had discussed &ldquo;the possibility of a Cabinet position &mdash; HHS,&rdquo; which is the Department of Health and Human Services that oversees the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and the National Institutes of Health, among other agencies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some science <a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.org\/content\/blog-post\/note-robert-f-kennedy-jr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>experts worry<\/a> about Kennedy in this type of role due to his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scientificamerican.com\/article\/how-robert-f-kennedy-jr-distorted-vaccine-science1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>historic role<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.annenbergpublicpolicycenter.org\/fact-checking-presidential-candidate-robert-f-kennedy-jr-on-vaccines-autism-and-covid-19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>spreading false information about vaccines<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/saradorn\/2023\/10\/10\/rfk-jr-launches-independent-2024-run-here-are-all-the-conspiracies-he-promotes-from-vaccines-to-mass-shootings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>conspiracy theories<\/a> about new technology like 5G.
