This was slightly less expensive than a week ago, when regular gas was $3.319 per gallon. Overall, gas prices in Washington are less expensive today than a month ago when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gas-prices-decrease-slightly-heading-into-the-weekend-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Gas prices decrease slightly heading into the weekend - Washington Examiner\">regular gas cost residents<\/a> in the nation&rsquo;s capital $3.421 per gallon.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Maryland<\/h2>\n<p>Gas prices increased slightly in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Maryland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maryland<\/a> on Tuesday as the average gallon of regular gas cost rose to $3.242. On Monday, the price of regular gas was less than one cent cheaper, coming in at $3.239 per gallon. Gas prices in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gas-prices-decrease-in-gas-costs-to-end-the-week-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Gas prices: Decrease in gas costs to end the week - Washington Examiner\">state remain slightly<\/a> more expensive than a week ago, when drivers also paid $3.239 per gallon. However, compared to a month ago, it is more expensive to fill up in Maryland on Tuesday than a month ago, when regular gas was $3.09 per gallon.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delaware<\/h2>\n<p>Gas prices increased a bit in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Delaware\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Delaware<\/a> on Tuesday with a gallon of regular gas now costing $3.188, a very small increase from Monday&rsquo;s price of $3.187. After several days of sharp increases last week, gas prices in the First State have cooled off a bit. A gallon of regular gas is less expensive than a week ago, when it was $3.211. However, gas prices are higher than a month ago, when the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Delaware was only $2.99.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Virginia<\/h2>\n<p>The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Virginia fell on Tuesday, coming in at $3.129. This was a slight drop from Monday, when it was $3.131. Tuesday&rsquo;s pricing is more expensive than a week ago in Virginia, when regular gas was $3.066 per gallon. The same holds for prices from a month ago, when drivers in Virginia paid $3.054 per gallon for regular gas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">California<\/h2>\n<p>California has the most expensive pricing in the nation on Tuesday for a gallon of regular in the nation at $4.677. This was a very slight increase from Monday&rsquo;s pricing of $4.676 per gallon. A week ago, drivers in California paid slightly more at the pumps with a regular gas price of $4.68 per gallon. These prices are less expensive than a month ago in the Golden State, when a gallon of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gas-prices-another-day-another-pump-increase-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Gas Prices: Another Day, Another Pump Increase - Washington Examiner\">regular gas cost <\/a>.77.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Georgia<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/georgia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Georgia<\/a> remained the state with the country&rsquo;s lowest gas prices on Tuesday, with a gallon of regular gas now costing drivers in the state $2.714. This was more than a one cent increase from Monday. Both prices this week are also less expensive than a week ago, when a gallon of regular gas was $2.729.
