Roy Cooper (D-NC) and the North Carolina General Assembly with 10 suggestions to help ensure people still vote. Among them included the option to vote in a neighboring county both in person and with absentee ballots.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They have faced this destruction for no fault of their own,&rdquo; Leavitt said. &ldquo;This is Trump country, this is western North Carolina, these are our people.
