The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that seven soldiers were severely injured during the incident, with a \u200btotal\u2062 of \u200d61 reported\u200d injuries. The attack involved drones that managed to evade Israel&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/putin-issues-dire-warning-as-us-cluster-bombs-are-delivered-to-ukraine\/\" title=\"Putin warns as US delivers cluster bombs to Ukraine.\">air defense\u2063 systems<\/a>, along with rocket fire \u2064aimed \u200dat other northern cities, including\u2064 Nahariya and Acre. A total of 61 people were injured in the attack.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the drones, the Lebanese terrorist group launched rockets toward other cities in northern Israel, including Nahariya and Acre, in an attempt to trigger the defense systems.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These drones broke through the Israel defense radars without detection and reached its target at the training camp of the elite Golani Brigade in Binyamina,&rdquo; Hezbollah <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/10\/13\/middleeast\/drone-attack-israel-hezbollah-intl-latam\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"said\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Golani Brigade has been deployed in southern Lebanon, where Israel has launched a ground operation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The drone attack comes the same weekend that saw Hezbollah <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/3187259\/hezbollah-launches-300-projectiles-into-israel-yom-kippur-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"launch\">launch<\/a> over 300 projectiles into northern Israel over Yom Kippur, an important Jewish holiday.
