Youngkin argues \u2064that the DOJ&#8217;s actions are politically motivated and an attack on election integrity, contending that they interfere with legitimate electoral processes. He insists that Virginia is following legal requirements\u2064 to ensure only\u2064 eligible \u2064citizens \u200dremain on the voter rolls and vows to defend these actions vigorously. Virginia&rsquo;s election will be secure and fair, and I will not stand idly by as this politically motivated action tries to interfere in our elections, period,&rdquo; Youngkin continued.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Justice Department, U.S. citizens who were identified and notified that their voter legislation was flagged and did not affirm their citizenship within 14 days would be removed from the list of registered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/voting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>voters<\/a>.
