That soil may be better or worse that the soil that was in the field before the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hurricane-ida-slams-louisiana-causes-widespread-damage-and-power-outages\/\" title=\"Hurricane Ida Slams Louisiana, Causes Widespread Damage And Power Outages\">hurricane hit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Sediment or soil eroding from other locations may be deposited over native soil in fields,&rdquo; the state said. &ldquo;This can potentially impact fertility. Since this deposition is often topsoil from other locations to floodplain areas, it may have high nutritive value.
