Vance would not take the bait when a New York Times journalist continually pressed him to answer whether former President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In the debate, you were asked to clarify if you believe Trump lost the 2020 election. Do you believe he lost the 2020 election?&rdquo; Lulu Garcia-Navarro, host of &ldquo;The Interview&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/10\/11\/us\/politics\/vance-trump-2020-election-results.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">podcast<\/a>, asked in a clip posted on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I think that Donald Trump and I have both raised a number of issues with the 2020 election, but we&rsquo;re focused on the future. I think there&rsquo;s an obsession here with focusing on 2020. I&rsquo;m much more worried about what happened after 2020,&rdquo; Vance answered, bringing up the Biden administration&rsquo;s open border and inflationary policies.<\/p>\n<p>So he gave a fair response. Hunter had turned it into a computer repair shop in Delaware and never retrieved it.<\/p>\n<p>The &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-witness-impeachment-hearing-says-joe-biden-big-guy-china-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">big guy<\/a>&rdquo; Joe Biden was mentioned as receiving a 10 percent cut of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hunter-biden-may-just-ratted-joe-acknowledges-identity-big-guy-5m-china-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one potential deal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia-Navarro asked the question three more times.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Senator Vance, I&rsquo;m going to ask you again, did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?&rdquo; she pressed.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And I&rsquo;ve answered your question with another question. You answer my question, and I&rsquo;ll answer yours,&rdquo; Vance said.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia-Navarro then asserted, &ldquo;There is no proof, legal or otherwise, that Donald Trump did not lose the 2020 election.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You&rsquo;re repeating a slogan, rather than engaging with what I&rsquo;m saying,&rdquo; Vance replied, again making reference to U.S. technology firms engaging in &ldquo;industrial-scale censorship&rdquo; during that time. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m worried about Americans who feel like there were problems in 2020. I&rsquo;m not worried about this slogan that people throw.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Asked if he would have voted to certify the election, the senator answered he would not have, citing the mass-scale censorship that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/zuckerberg-admits-bidens-damning-actions-facebook-sink-kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FBI promoted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Many people have doubts about the 2020 election.<\/p>\n<p>Following it, Texas and 17 other states <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasattorneygeneral.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/admin\/2020\/Press\/SCOTUSFiling.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sued<\/a>&nbsp;Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin for not following their own&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pennsylvania-mail-voting-scheme-declared-unconstitutional-seeing-action-2020-election-votes-just-thrown-away\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">election laws<\/a>, put in place to ensure the integrity of the vote.<\/p>\n<p>The attorneys general of these states <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/last-time-democrats-took-gop-presidential-nominee-off-ballot-1860\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">identified<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/brutal-marjorie-taylor-greene-destroys-nasty-ga-election-official-gabe-sterling-after-his-latest-attack-on-president-trump-and-herself\/\" title=\"BRUTAL! Marjorie Taylor Greene DESTROYS Nasty GA Election Official Gabe Sterling After His Latest Attack on President Trump and Herself\">mass mail-<\/a>out of ballot applications, the elimination of signature requirements, the altering of ballot submission deadlines and the use of a large number of unmanned drop boxes, among other issues that raised serious concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Texas and its co-plaintiffs&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/12\/11\/politics\/supreme-court-order-texas-election-case\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">did not have standing<\/a>&nbsp;to sue other states concerning how they conducted their elections.<\/p>\n<p>The high court did not look at the other legal merits of the case, which was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/legal-expert-explains-multiple-issues-uncovered-ongoing-fulton-county-ga-2020-election-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">true of many other challenges<\/a> brought.<\/p>\n<p>An ABC News\/Ipsos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipsos.com\/sites\/default\/files\/ct\/news\/documents\/2022-01\/Topline%20ABC_Ipsos%20Poll%20January%206%202022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">poll<\/a> released in January 2022 found only 20 percent of respondents said they were &ldquo;very confident&rdquo; in the integrity of the U.S. electoral system overall.<\/p>\n<p>Another 39 percent said they were &ldquo;somewhat confident,&rdquo; 27 percent &ldquo;not so confident&rdquo; and 14 percent &ldquo;not confident at all.&rdquo; So 80 percent of those surveyed had at least some level of concern about the integrity of our elections.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Democrats have questioned the outcome of every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/are-covid-case-surges-more-fake-news\/\" title=\"Are COVID Case Surges More Fake News?\">presidential election<\/a> that Republicans won since 2000 and some members of Congress have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/id\/wbna6794307\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voted against<\/a> certification.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">MUST WATCH: 10 minutes of Democrats denying election results. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bJRbzEcIO2\">pic.twitter.com\/bJRbzEcIO2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1540055374572797954?\">June 23, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The 2016 Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, has repeatedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/hillary-clinton-trump-is-an-illegitimate-president\/2019\/09\/26\/29195d5a-e099-11e9-b199-f638bf2c340f_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stated<\/a> the election was &ldquo;stolen&rdquo; from her and called Trump an &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/we-cant-afford-to-be-willfully-ignorant-anymore-americans-need-to-demand-real-forensic-audits-of-swing-state-ballots\/\" title=\"\u201cWe Can\u2019t Afford to Be Willfully Ignorant Anymore\u201d Americans Need to Demand Real Forensic Audits of Swing State Ballots\">illegitimate president<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>So Garcia-Navarro can get off her high horse.
