Tim Walz as her running mate is shaping up to be one of the worst.<\/p>\n<p>With both Harris and Walz doing more rounds with the media as the Nov. 5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-kamala-harris-cnn-interview-backfires-moment-cost-2024-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Election Day<\/a> is just weeks away, Walz sat down for an interview with ABC&rsquo;s Michael Strahan in a clip posted to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">social media platform<\/a> X on Thursday where Walz seems to stumble when it comes to his own campaign&rsquo;s position on the Electoral College.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/amp.cnn.com\/cnn\/2024\/10\/10\/politics\/tim-walz-electoral-college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN reports<\/a> the full interview will be released Friday as this is only a 43-second exchange in what was probably a painful conversation for the governor to get through.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">ABC: You said you think the Electoral College should be abolished.<\/p>\n<p>WALZ: &ldquo;Well it&rsquo;s not the campaign&rsquo;s position.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>ABC: So&hellip; that&rsquo;s something you and Kamala disagree on?<\/p>\n<p>WALZ: &ldquo;Umm&hellip; the campaign and my position is the campaign position.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&#129300; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/AaEEsDc5se\">pic.twitter.com\/AaEEsDc5se<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TrumpWarRoom\/status\/1844536350122385650?\">October 11, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Strahan&rsquo;s question comes after remarks Walz made at a fundraiser Tuesday in Sacramento, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mayor-california-charter-city-defies-newsoms-ban-voter-laws-law-not-apply-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">California<\/a>, about doing away with the Electoral College.<\/p>\n<p>While not a particularly novel position for a Democrat who wishes to destroy one of the great power-balancing features of the Constitution and disempower <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-devastation-trump-now-69-chance-winning-electoral-college-november\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">millions of Americans<\/a> living outside deep blue urban areas, it was one Strahan sought clarification on considering a later statement by a Harriz-Walz campaign representative.<\/p>\n<p>Strahan began by quoting Walz on the issue before stating what the Harris&rsquo; campaign said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You said, &lsquo;I think all of us know the Electoral College needs to go,&rsquo; but the campaign came out later that night and they said that&rsquo;s not their stance,&rdquo; Strahan said.<\/p>\n<p>Walz responded with the kind of confused answer that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-cnn-hosts-tear-tim-walz-pieces-embarrassing-debate-performance-forced-admit-vance-dominated\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">got him humiliated<\/a> on stage during his Oct. debate with Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Well, it&rsquo;s not the campaign&rsquo;s position,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;And the point I&rsquo;m trying to make is there&rsquo;s folks that feel every vote must count in every state. And I think some of folks feel that&rsquo;s not the case.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our campaign does that. And the point I&rsquo;m saying is, I&rsquo;m in five states in two days. We&rsquo;re out there making the case.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The campaign&rsquo;s position is clear that that&rsquo;s not their position. Their position and my position is to make sure everybody understands, no matter what state they&rsquo;re in, matters.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Strahan&rsquo;s follow-up question was understandably looking for clarification, as anyone hearing this would be totally confused.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;So, that&rsquo;s something that you and Vice President<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-trump-roasts-mess-detroit-trashing-kamala-harris-speech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Harris<\/a> disagree on?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Clearly panicked, Walz managed to respond with, &ldquo;my position is the campaign&rsquo;s position.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>CNN did report that a campaign official for Harris stated on Tuesday that abolishing the Electoral College is not an official campaign position.<\/p>\n<p>However, it&rsquo;s difficult to determine exactly what the official campaign position on the Electoral College is.
