It was confirmed upon inspection that the products were positive for listeria. Items produced between June 19 and Tuesday are at risk of the listeria outbreak.<\/p>\n<p>Listeria causes listeriosis, the third leading cause of death from food-related illnesses in the United States. Although there have been no reports of adverse effects from the meat products, it can take a few days to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/listeria-infection\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20355269#:~:text=Symptoms%20might%20begin%20a%20few,Convulsions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>well over a month<\/a> for listeriosis to show symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, vomiting, diarrhea, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions are all symptoms of the disease. Listeria is especially dangerous for pregnant women and people with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cdc-advisers-to-discuss-covid-booster-shots-for-those-with-weakened-immune-systems\/\" title=\"CDC advisers to discuss COVID booster shots for those with weakened immune systems\">weakened immune systems<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>USDA officials have urged consumers not to use or serve products marked with &ldquo;establishment numbers &lsquo;51205 or P-51205&rsquo; inside or under the USDA mark of inspection&rdquo; and to see a health care provider if they are concerned about illness.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>BrucePac is the latest company to <span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">recall products. In late July,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/healthcare\/3137627\/everything-about-listeria-boars-head-outbreak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Boar&rsquo;s Head<\/a>&nbsp;recalled 7.2 million pounds of product and later closed its facility due to a deadly,<\/span> widespread listeria outbreak.
