margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">Tens of millions of dollars in political donations have been routed to the Harris campaign, its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/more-electioneering-dirty-facebook-suspends-gop-ad-campaign-days-before-january-georgia-runoff-election\/\" title=\"More Electioneering: Dirty Facebook Suspends GOP Ad Campaign Days Before January Georgia Runoff Election\">joint fundraising committee<\/a>, and a&nbsp;<\/span>super PAC&nbsp;called Future Forward, which is supporting Harris through ad buys, according to a <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> analysis of Federal Election Commission filings.<\/p>\n<p>Taken together, the donations are a window into how wealthy and well-connected Democrats in finance, Big Tech, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/hollywood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Hollywood<\/a>, and the philanthropy world are going all out to thwart former President Donald Trump&rsquo;s third run for the Oval Office in nine years.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The future of our freedom, our democracy, and our reproductive rights are on the chopping block if Donald Trump wins &mdash; and we aren&rsquo;t willing to sit idly by and watch that happen,&rdquo; Eva Kemp, vice president of campaigns at American Bridge 21st Century, a Democratic PAC supporting Harris, told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Harris is entering the homestretch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>2024 presidential race<\/a> with more money and a proven fundraising record &mdash; raking in more than four times the amount Trump did in August and spending three times more that same month. Harris, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/10\/09\/us\/politics\/harris-billion-dollar-fundraising.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>according<\/a> to the <em>New York Times<\/em>, has raised a staggering $1 billion in three months. At the same time, mainstay Democratic PACs, such as American Bridge, are working overtime to target Trump in national ad blitzes intended to reach swing state voters, federal independent expenditure <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/data\/independent-expenditures\/?data_type=processed&amp;q_spender=C00492140&amp;is_notice=true&amp;most_recent=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>records<\/a> show.<\/p>\n<p>The Harris campaign, in turn, recently disclosed having $100 million more in the bank than Trump. Here is a look at notable donors hoping to anoint Harris as the next commander in chief.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Reid Hoffman<\/h2>\n<p>Reid Hoffman, the venture capitalist who co-founded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/linkedin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>LinkedIn<\/a>, has become one of the most outspoken Democratic donors since Trump&rsquo;s victory in the 2016 election. <\/p>\n<p>A Microsoft board member who has faced progressive-led criticism for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/opinion\/msnbc-opinion\/kamala-harris-linkedin-reid-hoffman-ftc-chair-lina-khan-rcna163897\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>appearing<\/a> to try to pressure Harris to replace Lina Khan, head of the Federal Trade Commission, Hoffman has spent at least $11.6 million to try to elect Harris in 2024. He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/07\/31\/technology\/silicon-valley-investors-support-kamala-harris.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>has<\/a> also &ldquo;emerged as a confidante to other wealthy Democrats in Silicon Valley looking to make political donations,&rdquo; according to the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Hoffman&rsquo;s wealth is also being routed to Harris-aligned PACs such as American Bridge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ra-pac.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>and<\/a> the Republican Accountability PAC. Along with Democratic megadonor George Soros, Hoffman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2021\/10\/26\/soros-hoffman-disinformation-tara-mcgowan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>helped seed<\/a> a left-wing dark money group linked to websites <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/1044306\/democratic-tied-dark-money-kingmaker-behind-nonpartisan-group-fighting-misinformation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>masquerading as local news outlets<\/a> to boost Democrats. <\/p>\n<p>Hoffman&rsquo;s single largest political donation since 2002 is the $6 million check he cut in March to Future Forward. He gave another $4 million combined to the PAC in April and June, respectively. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Michael Bloomberg<\/h2>\n<p>Similar to other wealthy donors, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/michael-bloomberg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Michael Bloomberg<\/a> wears many hats. The former New York City mayor, who unsuccessfully ran for president in 2020, is the <a href=\"https:\/\/innovation.defense.gov\/Members.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>chairman<\/a> of a Defense Department advisery board that counts<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/3163992\/pac-targeting-republican-swamp-ties-dark-money\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title> <\/a>Hoffman as a board member.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Bloomberg spread over $19 million to Future Forward, Harris Victory Fund, and Harris for President, federal records show. The nonprofit group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/1701432\/michael-bloomberg-has-poured-1-billion-into-anti-tobacco-groups-shaping-white-house-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>has spent large sums<\/a> on anti-tobacco and anti-nicotine vaping initiatives, as well as directed over $90 million in grants since 2019 to the ClimateWorks Foundation and other green energy activist hubs, according to tax records filed with the IRS. <\/p>\n<p>Bloomberg Philanthropies has dished out tens of millions of dollars in recent years to the Energy Foundation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy\/2834179\/top-john-kerry-aide-joined-climate-meeting-ccp-tied-groups\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>a San Francisco-based entity<\/a> with close ties to China&rsquo;s government. The Climate Imperative Foundation, a separate group in San Francisco linked to China, received a $17.5 million infusion from Bloomberg Philanthropies in 2022 to &ldquo;accelerate [the] transition to clean energy,&rdquo; tax records show.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Fred Eychaner<\/h2>\n<p>Fred Eychaner, the founder of the Chicago-based Newsweb Corporation, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/politics\/articles\/2015-05-20\/reclusive-chicago-donor-primed-to-back-clinton-s-second-bid?embedded-checkout=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>known<\/a> as a recluse. But the businessman doesn&rsquo;t shy away from entering the political arena. <\/p>\n<p>Eychaner has donated roughly $27 million to national Democrats over the last two years, including over $7.9 million to pro-Harris committees. An <a href=\"https:\/\/chicago.suntimes.com\/columnists\/2021\/11\/17\/22788627\/bill-clinton-chicago-clinton-foundation-fundraiser\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>ally<\/a> of former President Bill Clinton <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2015\/05\/fundraiser-clinton-foundation-finances-118128\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>and<\/a> former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Eychaner&rsquo;s Alphawood Foundation sits on around $70 million in assets and is one of the largest funders of the Obama Foundation, tax records show.<\/p>\n<p>Dubbed the Democrats&rsquo; &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/app\/uploads\/FW0915.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>mystery man<\/a>,&rdquo; Eychaner has made around $165 million in political donations on the federal level since 1984, according to federal records. Some of his largest handouts have been to Senate Majority PAC, House Majority PAC, Future Forward, a super PAC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/data\/independent-expenditures\/?data_type=processed&amp;q_spender=C00625525&amp;is_notice=true&amp;most_recent=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>called<\/a> Lift Leading Illinois for Tomorrow that opposed Trump in 2016, and Democratic super PAC giant Priorities USA Action.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He is the man behind the curtain, but this wizard has real power,&rdquo; <em>Chicago Magazine<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagomag.com\/chicago-magazine\/march-2013\/fred-eychaner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>reported<\/a> in 2013. &ldquo;Eychaner is a publicity-shy radio station owner who declines interviews and photographs but hosts the likes of Barack Obama and Bill Clinton in his massive Lincoln Park home.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Dustin Moskovitz<\/h2>\n<p>Dustin Moskovitz, who co-founded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/facebook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Facebook<\/a>, is widely expected to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-lincoln-project-founder-slams-recklessly-stupid-neo-nazi-cosplay-stunt\/\" title=\"WATCH: Lincoln Project Founder Slams \u2018Recklessly Stupid\u2019 Neo-Nazi Cosplay Stunt\">donate large sums<\/a> to Future Forward closer to the election, according to the&nbsp;New York Times. He has so far given the group $3 million and directed checks to Harris Victory Fund and Harris for President, federal records show.<\/p>\n<p>Moskovitz, 40, is worth $15.5 billion, according to <em>Forbes<\/em>. His fortune is routed through a nonprofit group called Good Ventures in Palo Alto, California, that backs a charity affiliated with OpenAI and several universities, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/southern-poverty-law-center-maintains-160-million-in-offshore-accounts\/\" title=\"Southern Poverty Law Center Maintains 0 Million in Offshore Accounts\">tax forms show<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Dustin Moskovitz, Facebook co-founder, poses outside of his office in San Francisco. Moskovitz and his wife, former <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> reporter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/news\/author\/cari-tuna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Cari Tuna<\/a>, shelled out $25 million in 2016 against Trump, followed by $47 million to fuel Biden in 2020. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Through the Simons Foundation, the couple has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simonsfoundation.org\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>funded<\/a> sprawling math and science programs across the United States. <\/p>\n<p>In the 2020 election, James Simons and Marilyn Simons were the 11th largest donors in the country, pouring $26 million into Democratic causes, federal records show.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. George Soros and Alex Soros<\/h2>\n<p>George Soros, 94, is a longtime Democratic megadonor.
