He&rsquo;s resisted. You urged him not to go into Lebanon. He went in anyway. He has promised to make Iran pay for the missile attack, and that has the potential of expanding the war. Does the U.S. have no sway over Prime Minister Netanyahu?&rdquo; he asked.<\/p>\n<p>Harris responded, &ldquo;The aid that we have given Israel allowed Israel to defend itself against 200 ballistic missiles that were just meant to attack the Israelis and the people of Israel.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And, when we think about the threat that Hamas, Hezbollah, presents, Iran, I think that it is, without any question, our imperative to do what we can to allow Israel to defend itself against those kinds of attacks,&rdquo; she added.<\/p>\n<p>None of that was a response to the question asked, but that&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nervous-trends-social-media-kamala-harris-starts-debate-shaky-answer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not unusual<\/a> in her dealings with the media.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iqbZ46GffOo?si=LEWSnePY1O8SjJyl\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Then the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/people-are-in-pain-over-what-we-all-saw-in-that-video-harris-demands-action-after-chauvin-verdict\/\" title=\"\u2018People Are In Pain Over What We All Saw In That Video\u2019: Harris Demands Action After Chauvin Verdict\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-defector-emails-pipeline-to-obama-admin-seen-as-currency\/\" title=\"Hunter Biden Defector Emails: &#039;Pipeline&#039; to Obama Admin Seen as &#039;Currency&#039;\">vice president<\/a> explained<\/a> that the administration is constantly putting pressure on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/developments-middle-east-appear-confirm-2500-year-old-bible-prophecy-upcoming-battle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Israel<\/a> to end the war by entering into a ceasefire agreement with Hamas and Hezbollah.<\/p>\n<p>Whitaker followed up saying, &ldquo;But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things &mdash; including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region,&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kamala-harris-hit-major-backlash-appearance-debaucherous-sex-podcast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harris<\/a> replied.<\/p>\n<p>So basically, she is saying that Israel, like any country, will act in its own best interests, which may include blowing off bad advice from the Biden-Harris administration (often driven by November&rsquo;s election) when necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Whitaker then asked, &ldquo;Do we have a really close ally in Prime Minister Netanyahu?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I think, with all due respect, the better question is, &lsquo;Do we have an important alliance between the American people and the Israeli people?&rsquo;&rdquo; Harris said. &ldquo;And the answer to that question is yes.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>That is one of those classic D.C. answers when a politician really doesn&rsquo;t say anything.<\/p>\n<p>What does an important alliance between the American and Jewish people even mean? There are Americans who care about Israelis? That&rsquo;s certainly true.<\/p>\n<p>But on a governmental level, Israel has been America&rsquo;s strongest ally in the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>Harris seemingly doesn&rsquo;t see it that way.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, the vice president <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-might-step-kamala-harris-snubs-benjamin-netanyahu-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">refused to preside<\/a>, along with House Speaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/columbia-anti-israel-agitators-triggered-mike-johnson-gop-lawmakers-show-encampment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mike Johnson<\/a>, over a joint session of Congress that Netanyahu spoke to in July.<\/p>\n<p>She then met with him privately afterwards, offering a very stern face and a not particularly friendly looking handshake before they kicked reporters out of the room.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Kamala&rsquo;s appearance with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu &mdash; after she snubbed his address to Congress &mdash; lasted a grand total of 14 seconds before the press was kicked out of the room. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8QkmW1sx4r\">pic.twitter.com\/8QkmW1sx4r<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1816582759785148645?\">July 25, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Harris later <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/netanyahus-mar-lago-meeting-trump-looked-different-white-house-meeting-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> the media of the discussion, &ldquo;I just had a frank and constructive meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-shows-up-to-pay-respects-on-anniversary-of-13-americans-killed-in-afghanistan-kamala-defends-biden-harris-admin-policy\/\" title=\"Trump Shows Up to Pay Respects on Anniversary of 13 Americans Killed in Afghanistan, Kamala Defends Biden-Harris Admin Policy\">vice president acknowledged<\/a> that &ldquo;Israel has a right to defend itself&rdquo; and that Hamas started the war with its Oct. 7 invasion of the Jewish state.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I will not be silent,&rdquo; she added, regarding the suffering those in Gaza had experienced as a result of the conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Harris said regarding an Israeli ceasefire, &ldquo;As I just told Prime Minister Netanyahu, it is time to get this deal done.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The vice president further added that she wants to see a &ldquo;two-state solution.&rdquo; So Hamas invades Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and kills 1,200 Israelis and takes another 250 people hostage, and they get rewarded with more land?<\/p>\n<p>Oh, the naivet&eacute; of her view. Does Harris not realize that Israel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/pattern-us-turns-israel-disaster-strikes-americas-shores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">turned over control<\/a> of Gaza to the Palestinians in 2005? That was a trial run at a two-state solution, as well as local control in the West Bank.<\/p>\n<p>The Palestinians proceeded to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/archive\/politics\/2006\/01\/27\/hamas-sweeps-palestinian-elections-complicating-peace-efforts-in-mideast\/8a4a4412-5f9b-4583-8607-51c7dd3781f4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">elect Hamas<\/a>&nbsp;in January 2006 to rule them, and the terrorist organization has used Gaza as a base of operations to attack the people of Israel ever since.<\/p>\n<p>Israel is a close ally of the United States.
