Tim Walz did the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=j0fP6m1vg3I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interview<\/a> with Fox News his running mate never will, but instead of moving on from his record of dishonesty, he had another brutal run-in with the truth.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Walz joined Shannon Bream for the network&rsquo;s flagship Sunday political program, where Bream grilled the Democrats&rsquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kamala-harris-backed-bail-fund-freed-alleged-domestic-abuser-now-accused-of-murder\/\" title=\"Kamala Harris-Backed Bail Fund Freed Alleged Domestic Abuser Now Accused Of Murder\">vice presidential nominee<\/a> on a range of issues from the serial falsehoods about his personal life to Iran. ABC News <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/walz-cleanup-falsehoods-fox-news-interview\/story?id=114542116\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">characterized<\/a> the interview as a &ldquo;cleanup&rdquo; operation. It came days after the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/10\/02\/from-iran-to-illegal-immigration-here-are-tim-walzs-biggest-lies-from-the-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">debate<\/a> with Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, when Walz <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/10\/01\/tim-walz-on-gun-violence-ive-become-friends-with-school-shooters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">celebrated<\/a> friendships with school shooters and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/10\/02\/from-iran-to-illegal-immigration-here-are-tim-walzs-biggest-lies-from-the-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">struggled<\/a> to explain his lie about where he was during the 1989 massacre in Tiananmen Square. Walz has <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/22\/if-masculinity-is-bad-why-didnt-tim-walz-admit-he-ran-from-war-and-couldnt-father-a-child\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">also<\/a> previously exaggerated his military service and wrongly claimed his own children were conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF).<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;What do you say to the American people who think, &lsquo;I don&rsquo;t know that I can trust this guy with all those modifications to be the potential commander-in-chief of this country?&rsquo;&rdquo; asked Bream.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I think they heard me,&rdquo; Walz said, &ldquo;&hellip; and I got to be honest with you, Shannon. I don&rsquo;t think people care whether I used IUI or IVF when we talk about this. What they understand is Donald Trump would resist those things.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<div lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>Fox News host Shannon Bream confronts Tim Walz with a list of his &#8220;misstatements&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What do you say to the American people who think, I don&#8217;t know if I can trust this guy &hellip; to be the potential commander in chief of this country?&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/LfR3GP7lm8\">pic.twitter.com\/LfR3GP7lm8<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&mdash; Alpha News (@AlphaNewsMN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AlphaNewsMN\/status\/1843026524406210964?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 6, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Bream, however, corrected Walz on former President Donald Trump&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.presidency.ucsb.edu\/documents\/2024-republican-party-platform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">platform<\/a>, which explicitly endorses IVF. &ldquo;If we&rsquo;re going to deal in truth,&rdquo; Bream said, &ldquo;both the president, the former president and his nominee have said they are very supportive of IVF.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the interview, Bream pressed Walz about the incumbent immigration crisis that is unfolding under Vice President Harris, the administration&rsquo;s &ldquo;border czar.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;She has policies that make a difference,&rdquo; Walz said. &ldquo;Her border policies are the most strongest, the fairest we&rsquo;ve seen.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Governor, you know a lot of people, including your own party, would not join that statement,&rdquo; Bream said, in light of the fact that more than <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/opinion\/4423296-matthews-illegal-immigrants-double-under-biden-and-thats-just-the-start\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">10 million<\/a> illegals having entered the United States under President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Walz pivoted to complain about Republicans in Congress rejecting a bill, negotiated by Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., that would have codified an open border. &ldquo;This is a real bill that has bipartisan support. It has the experts on board, and it starts to tackle these issues,&rdquo; Walz said. They want the restoration of <em>Roe versus Wade<\/em>.
