This attack ‍has shifted international attention back to ‍the Middle East, stirring protests among ⁢pro-Hamas students in the U.S. and influencing the political landscape, particularly⁤ the upcoming presidential election.

In retaliation, Israel has carried out extensive military operations against Hamas and its allies, even targeting locations in Iran, which backs Hamas and Hezbollah. These actions have ⁣received both support and ‌criticism from ⁤the global community. The Biden administration faces challenges in maintaining support⁤ for Israel while ⁣addressing concerns from a faction within the Democratic Party opposing Israeli military actions in Gaza.‍ The relationship dynamics between the U.S. and Israel, especially in ⁤swing states like Michigan, could significantly affect the Democrats’‌ electoral prospects.

The article⁤ also discusses the escalating conflict involving Iran directly attacking Israel and how this⁢ complicates regional ⁣stability. Experts view Iran’s involvement as a threat, ‍especially considering its aspirations for nuclear capability.

Additionally, the Supreme Court is preparing to ⁤review ⁢a controversial regulation regarding “ghost guns,” which are firearm kits ⁣sold online ‍and can⁢ be⁢ untraceable.⁢ The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, ⁢and Explosives (ATF) argues that⁤ regulation is‌ necessary due to the public safety risks posed ⁣by these weapons.
