Tim Walz (D-MN) that will air on Monday, Oct. 7, Harris will be in New York the following day for appearances on <em>The View<\/em>, <em>The Howard Stern Show<\/em>, and <em>The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>These appearances also come <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3178280\/kamala-harris-call-her-daddy-podcast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"after\">after<\/a> her joining the <em>Call Her Daddy<\/em> podcast on Oct. 6, which was the most popular podcast among female listeners on Spotify in 2023. The vice president will discuss issues important to female voters, including abortion, on the episode.<\/p>\n<p>Later next week, Harris will travel to battleground states Nevada and Arizona, both of which are close races. Recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/nevada\/trump-vs-harris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"polling\">polling<\/a> from <em>RealClearPolitics<\/em> has Harris leading former President <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump<\/a> in Nevada by 1.1%, 48.6% to 47.5%. However, Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/president\/general\/2024\/arizona\/trump-vs-harris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"leads\">leads<\/a> Harris in Arizona by 1.4%, 48.9% to 47.5%.<\/p>\n<p>Walz is also ramping up his media appearances in the coming week after a shaky performance in the vice presidential debate against Sen. <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/jd-vance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>J.D. Vance<\/a> (R-OH) on Oct. 1. He will be doing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3178582\/walz-solo-interview-fox-news-sunday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"solo interview\">solo interview<\/a> on <em>Fox News Sunday<\/em> with anchor Shannon Bream on Oct. 6, followed by the episode of <em>60 Minutes<\/em> with Harris and an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/tim-walz-jimmy-kimmel-live-guest-details-1236022783\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"appearance\">appearance<\/a> on <em>Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> on Oct. 7. Insiders contend, however, that the plan is for Harris to overload her travel schedule in October.
