(AP Photo\/Ken Ritter, File)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-2 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>During the weeklong trial, federal prosecutors said Fiore raised more than $70,000 for the statue of a Las Vegas police officer who was shot and killed in 2014 in the line of duty, but instead, she spent the money on plastic surgery, her rent, and her daughter&rsquo;s wedding.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;Michele Fiore used a tragedy to line her pockets,&rdquo; federal prosecutor Dahoud Askar said.<\/p>\n<p>Fior will be sentenced Jan. 6, 2025.
