wrote Center for Tech and Civic Life Director Tiana Epps-Johnson in an email on Thursday, which was obtained by The Federalist.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d7aa5a104baec5957f932aab5ebb156b fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d7aa5a104baec5957f932aab5ebb156b\"><\/div>\n<p>CTCL shuttled over <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/01\/sources-missouri-ag-stopped-working-on-investigation-into-zuckbucks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$320 million<\/a> from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to public election officials in 2020, targeting left-leaning areas and boosting Democrat turnout. Due to concerns of third-party meddling, 28 states have since <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/article\/states-banning-zuck-bucks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">banned<\/a> election funding like Zuckbucks. It said CTCL has asked the National Security Council for an immediate $500,000 to each affected state&rsquo;s election office, drawn from either Department of Homeland Security or FEMA funds.<\/p>\n<p>The guide <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techandciviclife.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Hurricane-Helenes-Impact-on-Elections-Administration-CTCL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">concluded<\/a> with a call for Congress and state legislatures to offer &ldquo;emergency funding&rdquo; and adopt permissive election policies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c0290659d4544dd7f23cff89bcec429a fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-c0290659d4544dd7f23cff89bcec429a\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;This is a critical part of a wrap-around strategy that state&#8236;&#8237; elections leaders and legislators may consider, such as waiving geographic or partisan poll&#8236;&#8237; worker restrictions, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/zuckbucks-group-blames-funding-ban-for-helenes-election-fallout\/\" title=\"Zuckbucks Group Blames Funding Ban for Helene&#039;s Election Fallout\">offering virtual poll worker training<\/a>, or adjusting timelines to help offices&#8236;&#8237; meet staffing and other needs,&rdquo; the guide read.<\/p>\n<p>CTCL <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/01\/20\/inside-democrats-newest-election-takeover-scheme-report-unmasks-dark-money-group-youve-probably-never-heard-of\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">launched<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/u-s-alliance-for-election-excellence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence<\/a> in 2022 to coordinate with other leftist groups and influence election officials ahead of November.
