Biden, who is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/labor-board-dismisses-union-misconduct-complaints-following-biden-purge\/\" title=\"Labor Board Dismisses Union Misconduct Complaints Following Biden Purge\">pro-union president<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/business\/3171471\/biden-taft-hartley-port-strike-five-billion-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>has stated he will not use this act<\/a>, with Scalise blaming the president and the union members for choosing to &ldquo;wreck the economy&rdquo; with this strike.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;But they&rsquo;re already making, with overtime, over $200,000 a year in some cases, and they want to shut the economy down to get more,&rdquo; Scalise said on Fox News&rsquo;s <em>Fox and Friends<\/em>. &ldquo;Who pays for this? And this will add even more to inflation. Scalise also said he would not support any legislation that would ban automation for port workers, claiming the workers want to &ldquo;go back to the <em>Flintstones<\/em>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The House majority leader was also critical of Biden&rsquo;s handling of containing Iran even after the country <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/3172703\/iran-missiles-toward-israel-retaliatory-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>launched roughly 200 ballistic missiles at Israel<\/a>.
