Tim Walz on the debate stage Tuesday night, but now the media is helping spin his appearance as a good thing.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-jd-vance-gives-hilarious-look-viewers-tim-walz-rambles-defining-debate-moment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vice presidential debate<\/a> saw Walz and his opponent, Republican vice presidential candidate and Sen. J.D. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-reacts-jd-vances-debate-performance-shreds-low-iq-walz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vance<\/a>, square off on several heated topics.<\/p>\n<p>One thing both viewers and experts noticed were the eyes of Walz &mdash; and how they seemed to flare up at times over the course of the debate.<\/p>\n<p>A body language expert wrote for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/magazine\/2024\/10\/02\/walz-vance-vp-debate-body-language-analysis-00182127\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Politico<\/a> that Walz&rsquo;s deer-in-the-headlights look was actually a sign of the progressive governor&rsquo;s &ldquo;passion.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Joe Navarro said he is &ldquo;a body language expert with over 50 years of experience,&rdquo; 25 of which were spent working with the FBI.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve used my expertise in the endlessly subtle science of nonverbal communication to help ferret out spies and put away criminals,&rdquo; Navarro wrote.<\/p>\n<p>But on Wednesday the former FBI expert turned his &ldquo;skills&rdquo; toward analyzing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/msnbc-panelist-total-air-meltdown-tim-walzs-debate-disaster-stop-stop-stop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vice presidential debate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Walz&rsquo;s wide eyes showed his passion,&rdquo; Navarro wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The general public seemed to disagree, saying the windows to the governor&rsquo;s soul were more akin to &ldquo;crazy eyes&rdquo; than anything hinting at passion.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve become friends with school shooters.&rdquo; -Tim Walz<\/p>\n<p>I mean, I&rsquo;d believe it.
