Tim Walz used his time on the 2024 vice presidential debate stage in New York City to lie about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/five-unorthodox-pro-life-bills-advancing-in-state-legislatures\/\" title=\"Five Unorthodox Pro-Life Bills Advancing In State Legislatures\">pro-life laws<\/a> and advance Democrats&rsquo; abortion extremism.<\/p>\n<p>Walz kicked off his first spiel on abortion by lamenting the Supreme Court&rsquo;s <em>Dobbs v. Jackson<\/em> decision because it opened the door for Republican states to enact popular pro-life limits. He named several women whom he claimed suffered &ldquo;horrific&rdquo; pregnancy complications but were refused treatment for them because of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/supreme-court-upholds-obamacare-in-full\/\" title=\"Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare in Full\">red state laws<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-16e32cdeeecfddb08dcea80572b53aa9 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-16e32cdeeecfddb08dcea80572b53aa9\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re pro-women. We&rsquo;re pro-freedom to make your own choice. We know what the implications are to not be that,&rdquo; Walz said. &ldquo;Women having miscarriages, women not getting the care, physicians feeling like they may be prosecuted for providing that care.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/john-fetterman-to-commemorate-9-11-anniversary-by-promoting-abortion\/\" title=\"John Fetterman to Commemorate 9\/11 Anniversary by Promoting Abortion\">pro-life protections passed<\/a> by GOP states do not criminalize treatments for spontaneous loss or complications. Instead, <a href=\"https:\/\/lozierinstitute.org\/pro-life-laws-protect-mom-and-baby-pregnant-womens-lives-are-protected-in-all-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">each and every policy<\/a> includes exceptions for abortion when it is deemed necessary to save the life of a pregnant woman.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, Walz pushed ahead, even invoking the story of Amber Thurman, a Georgia woman who <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/09\/20\/amber-thurman-died-from-the-abortion-pill-not-pro-life-laws\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">died<\/a> alongside her twin babies after suffering the dangerous and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/antidepressants-overprescribed-linked-to-suicide-risk\/\" title=\"Antidepressants Overprescribed, Linked to Suicide Risk\">fatal side effects<\/a> associated with the abortion pill responsible for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.guttmacher.org\/article\/2022\/02\/medication-abortion-now-accounts-more-half-all-us-abortions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more than half of the nation&rsquo;s abortions<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"> <span class=\"DQLXSGWN9zmFIjbdOBclUAvoh6nYCyfeMq8Tsi4aEKgRur07ZpHVtJ13P2k5w\"><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tim Walz repeates the Amber Thurman lie. Her d*ath had nothing to do with any kind of abortions laws. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CLdzRsc126\">pic.twitter.com\/CLdzRsc126<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/libsoftiktok\/status\/1841296633159397755?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 2, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/span> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The Democrat not only falsely claimed that Thurman died &ldquo;in that journey&rdquo; across state lines, but also pretended that she was denied a dilation and curettage for her septic abortion until it was too late because of the <a href=\"https:\/\/casetext.com\/statute\/code-of-georgia\/title-16-crimes-and-offenses\/chapter-12-offenses-against-public-health-and-morals\/article-5-abortion\/section-16-12-141-restrictions-on-the-performance-of-abortions-availability-of-records-civil-cause-of-action-affirmative-defenses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Peach State&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/scotus-to-hear-appeal-over-ky-abortion-law\/\" title=\"SCOTUS to hear appeal over Ky. abortion law\">pro-life law<\/a>. <\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-beff43dead81336b4994a7dc9a10e069 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-beff43dead81336b4994a7dc9a10e069\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;There&rsquo;s a very real chance, had Amber Thurman lived in Minnesota, she would be alive today,&rdquo; Walz claimed. &ldquo;How can we as a nation say that your life and your rights, as basic as the right to control your own body, is determined on geography?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/casetext.com\/statute\/code-of-georgia\/title-16-crimes-and-offenses\/chapter-12-offenses-against-public-health-and-morals\/article-5-abortion\/section-16-12-141-restrictions-on-the-performance-of-abortions-availability-of-records-civil-cause-of-action-affirmative-defenses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Georgia law<\/a> specifically carves out exceptions for abortion procedures like dilation and curettage if it &ldquo;is necessary in order to prevent the death of the pregnant woman or the substantial and irreversible physical impairment of a major bodily function.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Women aren&rsquo;t the only ones safeguarded by these policies. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/10\/04\/two-years-later-the-texas-heartbeat-act-has-saved-thousands-of-lives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Thousands of innocent<\/a> lives are saved&nbsp;every year from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lozierinstitute.org\/fact-sheet-reasons-for-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">elective and late-term abortions<\/a> thanks to legislation that prioritizes <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/07\/08\/look-how-even-democrat-opinion-shifts-on-abortion-laws-when-polls-stop-using-leftist-framing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Americans&rsquo; true feelings about abortion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Walz&rsquo;s abortion lies, however, did not stop there. In addition to tricking women into believing the abortion pills made even more readily available to them under the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/12\/17\/biden-administration-endorses-more-baby-killing-by-green-lighting-mail-order-abortion-pills\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biden-Harris administration&rsquo;s expansions<\/a> will do them no harm, Walz also tried to tie Democrats&rsquo; fight to give Big Fertility immunity into his radical abortion talking points by pretending Republican states want to ban birth control and in vitro fertilization. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-42e354c1bdc1d05ce03cafa0aa0ae9a8 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-42e354c1bdc1d05ce03cafa0aa0ae9a8\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s going to get more difficult, if not impossible, to get contraception and limit access, if not eliminate access, to infertility treatments,&rdquo; asserted Walz, who <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/20\/tim-walz-lied-about-how-his-children-were-conceived-for-years-to-attack-pro-lifers-over-ivf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lied for years<\/a> about how his children were conceived to score political points.<\/p>\n<p>Walz said who uses assisted reproductive technology is &ldquo;nobody else&rsquo;s business&rdquo; but claimed state governments have &ldquo;proposed&rdquo; laws to rein it in. <\/p>\n<p>Yet no state has seriously considered banning IVF or even the Walz family&rsquo;s choice of ART intrauterine insemination.
