One of the chain&rsquo;s most notable competitors, Walgreens, has faced a number of closures due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bidenomics-rends-nationwide-drugstore-chain-set-shutter-significant-number-locations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bad business<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/walgreens-announces-closure-5-stores-democratic-stronghold-due-rampant-crime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rampant crime<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Testing God&rsquo;s sovereignty, alienating customers who harbor pro-life beliefs, and then showing no remorse for it are all just bad business strategies in any economy &mdash; let alone an economy overseen by the current <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/impact-bidenomics-memorial-day-weekend-prices-skyrocket-since-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clown show<\/a> occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.<\/p>\n<p>And make no mistake &mdash; business is bad for CVS. The company&rsquo;s executive director of corporate communications, Mike DeAngelis, confirmed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/2024\/10\/01\/cvs-layoffs-2024\/75466456007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USA Today<\/a> on Monday that roughly 2,900 layoffs were forthcoming.
