Inches away, I could hear the tired breaths of a man who ensured certain children never get theirs.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, several myths still circulated about late-term abortions &ldquo;not existing,&rdquo; despite Carhart&rsquo;s thriving multiple businesses. Those myths remain perpetuated today by Democrats like 2024 nominee <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript\/story?id=113560542\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kamala Harris<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/abc-news-rebuked-pro-life-group-asked-correction-abortion-claim-debate-moderator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">corporate media outlets<\/a>&nbsp;more interested in furthering a profitable agenda than upholding truth, as demonstrated by ABC&rsquo;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/\/www.studentsforlifeaction.org\/what-did-taylor-swift-see-fact-checking-kamala-harris-on-abortion-with-one-thing-very-clear\/__%3B!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!wbqnlhPfkgfIoY3lxnPEWPtEf_87aS1Msg6BRb1J08rfrhi8mGDYXafewJzXAGCenL4Xo7brSGy-SnXMsnNxBA%24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fiasco of a failed &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/michiganders-asked-to-report-their-neighbors-for-election-misinfo\/\" title=\"Michiganders Asked To Report Their Neighbors For Election &#039;Misinfo&#039;\">fact check&#038;rdquo<\/a>;<\/a>&nbsp;during&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/abcs-linsey-davis-raises-eyebrows-abortion-fact-check-against-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the presidential debate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&rsquo;ll never forget Carhart&rsquo;s voice. With pauses for breath and historical side notes, his tone was that of our grandfathers recalling their walk to school. Carhart had no qualms about casually using the terms &ldquo;baby,&rdquo; &ldquo;killing,&rdquo; or &ldquo;dead&rdquo; when describing abortion.<\/p>\n<p>In reviewing the&nbsp;<em>Gonzales v. Carhart<\/em>&nbsp;case, he noted it&rsquo;s &ldquo;illegal to remove a fetus partly before killing the fetus, and then deliver the rest of the parts.&rdquo; So he killed first. He coldly explained how&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/18279695\/__%3B!!PxibshUo2Yr_Ta5B!wbqnlhPfkgfIoY3lxnPEWPtEf_87aS1Msg6BRb1J08rfrhi8mGDYXafewJzXAGCenL4Xo7brSGy-SnXlm2kAqQ%24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">digoxin<\/a>, or heart attack abortions, worked: &ldquo;We know the baby has been dead for multiple days.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>And Carhart confirmed elective late-term abortions included healthy babies. &ldquo;Most of us are probably results of unplanned pregnancies (laughter from the audience),&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;Certainly, if it was an unplanned pregnancy, and they come to the office, I&rsquo;ll take care of them.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>His final word of advice to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/aspiring-medical-students-at-top-school-get-their-chemistry-professor-fired-because-his-class-had-high-standards\/\" title=\"Aspiring Medical Students At Top School Get Their Chemistry Professor Fired Because His Class Had High Standards\">aspiring medical students<\/a>?&nbsp;&ldquo;When you&rsquo;re burned out of doing labor and delivery and OB and gynecology, and you&rsquo;re 55 or so, you might come back and work in the abortion field.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That is the logic of someone who held thousands of lifeless children in his hands:&nbsp;When bringing life into the world gets old, come to the dark side.<\/p>\n<p>I shook his hand before exiting.
