Anna Paulina Luna. The Department of Justice stated that\u2064 Braddock was \u2063charged with interstate transmission of a true threat. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida.<\/p>\n<p>William Robert Braddock III, 41, of St. Petersburg was indicted last week on one count of interstate transmission of a true threat to injure another person, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/former-candidate-13th-congressional-district-florida-charged-election-related-threat-former\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Justice release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment did not name names, but said a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-man-charged-repeatedly-threatening-kill-certain-supreme-court-justices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">threat<\/a> was made against a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nc-dem-senate-challenger-votes-against-bipartisan-school-reopening-bill\/\" title=\"NC Dem Senate Challenger Votes Against Bipartisan School Reopening Bill\">primary candidate<\/a> in the race for the 13th Congressional District of Florida and a private citizen who was a friend of the candidate.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment said claims to harm the victims were made in June 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment alleged Braddock told the friend of Luna&rsquo;s he would &ldquo;call up my Russian-Ukrainian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-florida-republican-caught-on-tape-threatening-to-send-russian-and-ukrainian-hit-squad-after-opponent\/\" title=\"REPORT: Florida Republican Caught On Tape Threatening To Send \u2018Russian And Ukrainian Hit Squad\u2019 After Opponent\">hit squad<\/a>&rdquo; and make <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gop-rep-luna-tears-hearing-witness-starts-laughing-child-trafficking-border\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luna<\/a> disappear.<\/p>\n<p>  <script> \t\t\t\tif( ! getCookie( 'ff_subbed' ) ) if( typeof FFADS.replace_ict !='undefined' ) if( FFADS.replace_ict ) eval( FFADS.replace_ict ); \t\t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>The wheels of justice stopped at that point as Braddock left the country to live in the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>The Philippines recently deported Braddock, who appeared in court in Los Angeles on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>A representative of Luna told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/justice-department\/florida-congressional-candidate-charged-threatening-kill-primary-oppon-rcna173144\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC<\/a> that she has &ldquo;faced a growing number of death threats&rdquo; in the past month, which the representative said was part of the &ldquo;broader and more disturbing issue of violence in the political arena.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">BREAKING:<br \/> William Braddock, 41 of St. Petersburg, FL is heard<br \/> saying he has &ldquo;access to hit squad from Ukrainian-<br \/> Russians&rdquo;&hellip;..threatening to make sure &ldquo;the loser is going<br \/> to go down and I hope it&rsquo;s by herself&rdquo; speaking of Rep.<br \/> Anna Paulina Luna.<\/p>\n<p>Pray for <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepLuna?\">@RepLuna<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bQbhc1N1Dy\">pic.twitter.com\/bQbhc1N1Dy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; JasonJourno (@journo_jason) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/journo_jason\/status\/1840566409027354831?\">September 30, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>A report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/09\/27\/opponent-anna-paulina-luna-threatening-00181523\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Politico<\/a> said that the friend of Luna&rsquo;s recorded a conversation with Braddock.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I really don&rsquo;t want to have to end anybody&rsquo;s life for the good of the people of the United States of America,&rdquo; the recording said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;That will break my heart. But if it needs to be done, it needs to be done. Luna is a f***ing speed bump in the road. She&rsquo;s a dead squirrel you run over every day when you leave the neighborhood,&rdquo; the recording said.<\/p>\n<p>Braddock told Politico in 2021 that the recording &ldquo;may even be altered and edited.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Luna is seeking re-election.
