Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) has shared<\/a> regarding Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Kamala Harris&rsquo;s<\/a> electability in her state. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/south-dakota\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>South Dakota<\/a> lawmaker suggested his opposing party is &ldquo;worried&rdquo; and cited how states such as Michigan have been drastically affected by the Biden administration&rsquo;s policies. The South Dakota senator contended that most of the races are within the margin of error and that these polls underestimate how much help voters will bring to Republican Senate candidates when they vote for former President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It bodes well, and I think we&rsquo;re set up well to get the majority but win seats that would give us a bigger majority. We have to execute,&rdquo; said Thune.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thune concluded that winning the Senate and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/news\/white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>White House<\/a> while keeping the House is imperative for the Republican Party. However, he contended that Republicans must at least win the Senate to ensure a &ldquo;check in balance.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Both parties only have just over five weeks left to campaign to voters before Election Day on Nov. 5.
