And I started closing all the vents and [trying] to make sure everything is cut off,&rdquo; Edwards said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You know how on a cartoon movie when something explodes, it&rsquo;s like multiple clouds just climbing out of each other? That&rsquo;s the best way I can describe it,&rdquo; Edwards said.<\/p>\n<p>The plume of smoke is likely to remain for several days, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/news\/atlanta-news\/metro-atlanta-chemical-plant-fire-leads-to-evacuation-of-17000\/NLTZ6RLMIZCERF76B7FHUQFRYE\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atlanta Journal-Constitution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The fire was the third in seven years.<\/p>\n<p>The fire began Sunday morning.
