I feel like she knows this is over, but she&rsquo;s going to go down kicking and screaming like an MMA fighter. It&rsquo;s not gonna stop until they put cuffs on her,&rdquo; Britton said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In August, former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that the village of Dolton was $3.65 million in the red as of May 31, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/dolton-mayor-tiffany-henyard-financial-probe-lori-lightfoot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lightfoot submitted a report indicating that on one day alone $40,000 in purchases was made through Amazon, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-black-residents-furious-dem-mayor-pulls-race-card-amid-corruption-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">no record<\/a> of how the money was spent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thornton Township trustees are irked at the spending they did not approve, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/in-south-suburban-chicago-township-trustees-blast-henyard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trustee Chris Gonzalez said items the board did not approve &ldquo;magically, they end up on the credit card.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/super-mayor-hot-water-state-comptrollers-crushing-measure\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Henyard<\/a> said the board is giving her a rough time on purpose.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&ldquo;This is what I mean about my board,&rdquo; Henyard said. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a lot of hate, jealousy, and envy amongst them towards their supervisor.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&ldquo;I am the leader for Thornton Township.
