He&rsquo;s had mixed success so far.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>His request to be removed from the ballot was accepted in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3132392\/rfk-jr-withdraws-ballot-arizona-campaign-future-announcement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Arizona<\/a>, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. In North Carolina, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wisconsin-supreme-court-takes-up-trump-lawsuit-days-ahead-of-electoral-college-vote\/\" title=\"Wisconsin Supreme Court Takes Up Trump Lawsuit Days Ahead of Electoral College Vote\">judge ruled<\/a>, after ballots were already printed with his name on them, that Kennedy could be removed from the ballot, which has complicated their ballot rollout.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy must <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/3148229\/rfk-jr-remain-on-michigan-ballot-state-supreme-court-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>remain on the ballot<\/a> in Michigan and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>Here&rsquo;s where his quest to be removed from the ballot has complicated ballot rollouts:<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">North Carolina<\/h2>\n<p>Ballots in North Carolina are being reprinted to exclude Kennedy after he won his challenge to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3146039\/north-carolina-rfk-jr-name-removed-just-before-mail-in-ballots-sent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>remove his name from the ballot<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After some back and forth with lower North Carolina courts, the state Supreme Court ruled that ballots must be reprinted without Kennedy&rsquo;s name. The ruling acknowledged the late timing of the order.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We acknowledge that expediting the process of printing new ballots will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/swing-state-supreme-court-hands-trump-and-rfk-jr-a-crucial-win-in-ballot-battle\/\" title=\"Swing State Supreme Court Hands Trump and RFK Jr. a Crucial Win in Ballot Battle\">require considerable time<\/a> and effort by our election officials and significant expense to the State. But that is a price the North Carolina Constitution expects us to incur to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rfk-jr-accuses-dnc-of-lawfare-after-being-denied-place-on-new-york-ballot-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"RFK Jr accuses DNC of \u2018lawfare\u2019 after being denied place on New York ballot - Washington Examiner\">protect voters&#038;rsquo<\/a>; fundamental right to vote their conscience and have that vote count,&rdquo; the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hollywood-celebs-rage-in-defeat-after-barrett-confirmation-revolting-disgraceful-unconscionable\/\" title=\"Hollywood Celebs Rage in Defeat After Barrett Confirmation: &#039;Revolting. Unconscionable&#039;\">high court<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p>North Carolina&rsquo;s 100 counties began reprinting ballots<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3154527\/north-carolina-sends-out-ballots-two-weeks-late-rfk-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title> two weeks later<\/a> than they were supposed to be sent to absentee voters in order to comply with the order. The move could cost the state upward of $1 million, according to an estimate by the North Carolina State Board of Elections.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Everything was sealed and ready to go out on Sept. 6, and then we got the directive to basically shred all that and start over,&rdquo; Danner McCulloh, the Wake County Board of Elections public records coordinator, told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/09\/16\/us\/north-carolina-election-ballots-rfk-jr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><em>New York Times<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In one county, the change cost $16,000 to reprint the ballots without Kennedy&rsquo;s name. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/wfuogb.com\/24896\/city-state\/rfk-delayed-absentee-ballots-in-north-carolina-it-cost-forsyth-county-16000\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><em>Old Gold &amp; Black<\/em><\/a>, Wake Forest University&rsquo;s student newspaper, Forsyth County had already printed 64,800 ballots and printed 3,400 new ballots in house, but Kennedy&rsquo;s request meant 61,400 ballots had to be reprinted by a paid company.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wisconsin<\/h2>\n<p>While Kennedy is currently on the ballot in Wisconsin after a Dane County judge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/3156986\/rfk-jr-remain-wisconsin-ballot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>ordered him to stay<\/a>, he is still trying to get his name off the ballot. Ballots have already been mailed to absentee voters who have requested them in the Badger State.<\/p>\n<p>As of Tuesday, Kennedy is <a href=\"https:\/\/slate.com\/news-and-politics\/2024\/09\/robert-kennedy-jr-wisconsin-vote-sticker-trump.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>petitioning<\/a> the Wisconsin Supreme Court for an emergency removal of his name from ballots, but the ballots have already been printed and sent out to voters. Kennedy&rsquo;s team is asking Wisconsin election officials to place stickers over his name to prevent voters from casting a vote for him.<\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin election officials, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/o\/5lCwY\/https:\/\/www.votebeat.org\/wisconsin\/2024\/09\/19\/robert-f-kennedy-jr-seeks-stickers-on-millions-of-wisconsin-ballots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>called the idea<\/a> a &ldquo;logistical and administrative nightmare,&rdquo; as a sticker on the ballot could hinder tabulation efforts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;With over 1,800 municipal clerks statewide, uniformity of any sticker placement becomes a real concern,&rdquo; Wood County Clerk Trent Miner told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.votebeat.org\/wisconsin\/2024\/09\/19\/robert-f-kennedy-jr-seeks-stickers-on-millions-of-wisconsin-ballots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><em>VoteBeat<\/em><\/a>. &ldquo;Errant sticker placement would produce an error and return the ballot to the voter, uncounted, again sowing distrust in the tabulation and administration of the election.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Wisconsin Supreme Court will hear his case to the dismay of two conservative judges who voted not to take it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Process matters. The members of the majority sometimes enforce a rule against &lsquo;premature petitions&rsquo; but sometimes they don&rsquo;t, without disclosing any standards by which they will choose whether to apply it. Such arbitrariness by courts is antithetical to the original understanding of the judicial role,&rdquo; Justice Rebecca Bradley wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates with a party affiliation had until 5 p.m. on Sept. 3 to certify their candidacy in Wisconsin.
