His law license in D.C. was suspended since summer 2021, but the recent decision from the \u200cD.C. Court of \u2064Appeals officially \u2064revoked his ability to practice \u2064law. This comes months after he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3067318\/rudy-giuliani-disbarred-in-new-york-flagrant-misconduct-during-2020-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>disbarred in New York state<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When he was disbarred in New York, the appeals court in July said there was &ldquo;uncontroverted evidence&rdquo; that he spread &ldquo;demonstrably false and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rfk-jr-must-stay-on-michigan-ballot-judge-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"RFK Jr. must stay on Michigan ballot: Judge - Washington Examiner\">misleading statements&#038;rdquo<\/a>; to courts, lawmakers, and voters throughout his efforts to overturn the election results.<\/p>\n<p>In June, the <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/washington-dc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>District of Columbia<\/a> Bar&rsquo;s Board on Professional Responsibility <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3025417\/giuliani-recommended-disbarment-dc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>recommended<\/a> he be disbarred, saying Giuliani &ldquo;proffered no facts to support the claims he made and his opinion that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/giuliani-recommended-for-disbarment-in-dc-over-2020-election-fraud-claims\/\" title=\"Giuliani Faces Disbarment in DC for 2020 Election Fraud Claims\">election impropriety occurred<\/a> does not meet the requirements for filing a lawsuit.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since his involvement with Trump&rsquo;s plan to overturn the results of the 2020 election, Giuliani has found himself in a mountain of legal trouble. He has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3075991\/rudy-giuliani-treating-bankruptcy-joke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>ordered to pay<\/a> $148 million to two election workers in Georgia after a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-judge-finds-j6-defendant-not-guilty-nuking-doj-charges-that-walking-through-an-open-door-is-a-crime\/\" title=\"Federal Judge Finds J6 Defendant Not Guilty, Nuking DOJ Charges That Walking Through An Open Door Is A Crime\">federal judge found<\/a> him liable for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3013190\/giuliani-agrees-drop-accusations-georgia-poll-workers-massive-148-million-defamation-loss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>defamation<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He has also been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3008984\/rudy-giulianis-birthday-celebration-interrupted-by-agents-serving-him-with-indictment-in-fake-electors-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>indicted<\/a> in Arizona and Georgia for his role in the alleged plot to overturn the 2020 election.
