to leave country if Trump gets elected<\/h1>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-title-line\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<div id=\"Brid_1698804\" class=\"tpd-featured-video bridtv\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/michael-cohen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Michael Cohen<\/a>, former President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Donald Trump&rsquo;s<\/a> ex-personal attorney, said he plans on fleeing the country if his former boss is elected in November.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>Once Trump&rsquo;s fixer, Cohen became the star witness in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/new-york\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title> New York<\/a>&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/donald-trumps-criminal-hush-money-trial-set-for-march-25\/\" title=\"Trump&#039;s hush money trial scheduled for March 25\">hush money trial<\/a>, in which Trump was accused of falsifying business records to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cohen testified that under the direction of Trump, he made a $130,000 payment to Daniels to keep her from speaking out about an alleged affair with Trump before the 2016 election.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The grand jury found Trump guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records.<\/p>\n<p>As for his part in the crime, Cohen pleaded guilty to federal campaign finance charges and served three years in prison beginning in 2018.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He also testified against Trump in a Manhattan civil fraud trial, in which Trump was faced with a $454 million judgment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the past month, Trump has ramped up threats that he will prosecute those he deemed corrupt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-threatens-legal-action-jail-time-for-those-who-cheated-in-election-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Trump threatens legal action, jail time for those who &#039;cheated&#039; in election - Washington Examiner\">include long term prison sentences<\/a>,&rdquo; Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. &ldquo;Please beware that this legal exposure extends to Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, &amp; Corrupt Election Officials.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cohen said he is worried he may be one of the top people on Trump&rsquo;s list.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m outta here,&rdquo; Cohen said during an interview with MSNBC&rsquo;s Nicolle Wallace. &ldquo;I mean, I&rsquo;m already working on a foreign passport with a completely different name.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In his book released last month, Trump threatened to seek legal action against Mark Zuckerberg if he caught any wind that he was using his influence in the 2024 presidential election.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to Cohen, Trump will be going after MSNBC President Rashida Jones, former Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley, and former Wyoming Rep.
