There is a valid concern that Soros may try to silence these voices ahead of the elections in November.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Chip Roy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gop-rep-sounds-alarm-soros-seeks-circumvent-fcc-rules-seize-control-local-radio-nationwide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">originally sounded the alarm<\/a> about the FCC&rsquo;s suspicious treatment of Soros in April of this year.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>However, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/06\/18\/us-news\/dem-majority-fcc-helping-george-soros-fast-track-audacy-radio-takeover\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>, by the time Roy made the shocking discovery and went public with it, Soros had already dumped some $400 million into Audacy months earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Roy pointed to a communications law that bars corporations with over 25 percent foreign ownership from legally holding a radio license, a major hurdle to Soros&rsquo; acquisition of the radio network.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;But instead of going through the usual petition for declaratory ruling process, which would enable the FCC to review and assess those foreign <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrats-demand-parler-reveal-its-investors-and-creditors\/\" title=\"Democrats Demand Parler Reveal Its Investors And Creditors\">ownership interests<\/a> as part of its transaction review, the Soros group has asked the FCC to waive that process and put it off until sometime down the road,&rdquo; Roy <a href=\"https:\/\/roy.house.gov\/sites\/evo-subsites\/roy.house.gov\/files\/evo-media-document\/4.23.24%20Rep%20Roy%20Letter%20FCC%20Chairwoman%20Jessica%20Rosenworcel.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote in a letter<\/a> to the FCC, &ldquo;indicating that those foreign stakeholders will be given &lsquo;special warrants&rsquo; in the meantime.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Soros group says that skipping the foreign ownership review at this time will enable the FCC to expedite its approval of the Soros applications and thus allow them to more quickly realize their ownership interests in, and take the reins at, these hundreds of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/does-hollywoods-conservative-blacklist-extend-to-the-music-industry\/\" title=\"Does Hollywood\u2019s Conservative Blacklist Extend to the Music Industry?\">local radio stations<\/a> across the country,&rdquo; Roy continued.<\/p>\n<p>He added: &ldquo;While this may be true, the Soros group&rsquo;s interest in expediency does not obviate the FCC&rsquo;s obligation to follow the law and protect the American people.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>As the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/09\/23\/business\/fcc-delay-to-internet-in-rural-areas-worst-abuse-commissioner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a> reports, on September 18 the FCC decided to allow Soros to go ahead with his takeover of American airwaves.<\/p>\n<p>The FCC panel&rsquo;s vote was split down partisan lines, with three Democrats supporting a fast-track for Soros and two Republicans voting against the measure.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Post, this is the first time in modern history such a move has been allowed without a national security review.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of our national integrity, the timing of Soros&rsquo; attempted acquisition could not be more suspect.
