The measure now&nbsp; awaits Biden&rsquo;s signature to become law.<\/p>\n<p>Iran has already been officially linked to at least one plot to assassinate Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/another-suspect-tried-assassinate-trump-pakistani-man-charged-potential-connection-murder-attempt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with the arrest<\/a> of a Pakistani man in July suspected of trying to recruit hit teams in the U.S. to kill Trump and other officials.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian computer hackers have also targeted the Trump campaign, offering stolen information over the summer to the Biden presidential campaign before Biden withdrew from his re-election bid, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/09\/18\/politics\/iranian-hackers-trump-biden-campaigns\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Trump&rsquo;s hard line against Tehran while he was in office, and his unstinting support for Israel, the Iranians are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/iran-official-sends-apparent-threat-trump-soleimani-killing-anniversary-approaches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">still seeking revenge<\/a> for the killing of Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani in January 2020 in a U.S. drone strike in Baghdad, Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>The development comes after two known assassination attempts on Trump in recent months.<\/p>\n<p>One in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13 came within a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-introduces-staffer-saved-life-horrifying-shooting-tell-come\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hair&rsquo;s breadth of succeeding<\/a>. The gunman was killed at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The other, on Sept. 15 at the Trump International Golf Course near West Palm Beach, Florida, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/golf-course-shooting-assassination-attempt-shooter-opened-fire-first-now-custody-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was foiled<\/a> by the Secret Service.
