Specifically, Democrat\u2064 Joe\u200c Staloch and\u2064 Republican state Rep. Peggy \u2064Bennett have their\u200c party \u2063labels incorrectly printed in Faribault County. Additionally, voters in a town \u200din Wabasha County received ballots with an incorrect legislative\u2063 race. Peggy Bennett have their parties incorrectly printed on ballots going out in Faribault County, and in Wabasha County, voters in one town have the wrong state legislative race printed. Minnesota law requires both of these problems to be addressed in court.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They are still using those ballots right now,&rdquo; Bennett, who is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-did-matthew-mcconaughey-send-this-tweet-about-a-specific-instagram-account-harassing-him\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Did Matthew McConaughey Send This Tweet About A Specific Instagram Account Harassing Him?\">incorrectly listed<\/a> as a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3111933\/tim-walzs-democratic-farmer-labor-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party<\/a> on the ballots in Faribault County, told <a href=\"https:\/\/kstp.com\/kstp-news\/top-news\/ballot-problems-in-2-minnesota-counties-to-require-court-action\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>KSTP-TV<\/a>. &ldquo;They have to, by law, allow people to vote. New ballots are being printed.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Bennett said that while she does not believe fraud is involved, she is concerned about how mistakes like this one could affect voters&rsquo; confidence in electoral systems.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To have a fairly significant, not fairly, it&rsquo;s a seriously significant mistake, like that really surprised me,&rdquo; Bennett said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/we-have-evolved-manchin-grilled-during-interview-about-his-recent-change-in-tune-on-the-filibuster\/\" title=\"\u2018We Have Evolved\u2019: Manchin Grilled During Interview About His Recent Change In Tune On The Filibuster\">people hear<\/a> this kind of thing, it&rsquo;s right away, &lsquo;No, this is fraud&rsquo; &hellip; and I want to assure people this is not fraud at the county or state level. This was a mistake,&rdquo; Bennett continued.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in Wabasha County, voters in Zumbro Falls received ballots with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/2024-poll-36-of-democrats-unsure-who-they-support-if-not-biden-13-want-kamala-harris\/\" title=\"2024 Poll: 36% of Democrats Unsure Who They Support if Not Biden, 13% Want Kamala Harris\">candidates listed<\/a> from House District 20A despite Zumbro Falls being in House District 20B. Republican Steve Jacob represents 20B, but the ballots listed the nearby race as involving Republican Rep. Pam Altendorf, who represents 20A.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These errors are unacceptable and need to be quickly resolved by the Secretary of State and the county to ensure voters in Zumbro aren&rsquo;t disenfranchised,&rdquo; Jacob and Altendorf said in a joint statement.<\/p>\n<p>On the Minnesota secretary of state&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/myballotmn.sos.mn.gov\/ShowImage.aspx?i=3F67ED50-F180-4BAD-AE69-FEDE05A7236B\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title>website<\/a>, a sample ballot for Zumbro Falls includes the same error, but the website has the correct race listed.
