Bennett&rsquo;s opponent, Joe Staloch, was listed as the Republican candidate despite being a Democrat. A copy of the <a href=\"https:\/\/myballotmn.sos.mn.gov\/ShowImage.aspx?i=01B02F88-9FE5-483C-826C-DC27443C8117\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">incorrect ballot<\/a> can be found on the Secretary of State&rsquo;s website.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-0ca7ca4b3e7aef886d723382a4caf7cc fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-0ca7ca4b3e7aef886d723382a4caf7cc\"><\/div>\n<p>The Secretary of State&rsquo;s office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sos.state.mn.us\/about-the-office\/news-room\/statement-on-faribault-county-ballot-misprint\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> in a release on Friday that &ldquo;seventeen ballots were issued with this error.&rdquo; Ballots for State Representative District 23A &ldquo;issued by Freeborn, Steele, and Waseca counties accurately list the candidates&rsquo; parties,&rdquo; the office claimed.<\/p>\n<p>Bennett became aware of the issue after a Republican supporter in Faribault County &ldquo;contacted her asking when she became a Democrat,&rdquo; according to a Friday press <a href=\"https:\/\/www.house.mn.gov\/members\/profile\/news\/15430\/49780\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">release<\/a> from Bennett.
