In the letter, Routh offers a $150,000 reward for anyone willing\u200c to carry out \u200dthe murder, expressing regret for his\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mike-kelly-same-people-criticizing-trump-peddled-russia-collusion-hoax\/\" title=\"Mike Kelly: Same People Criticizing Trump Peddled Russia Collusion Hoax\">failed attempt<\/a> and referring to it as an assassination endeavor directed at Trump. He attributes his\u200c motive\u200c to\u200d rhetoric from Democratic leaders and the media that portrays Trump as &#8220;unfit&#8221; for the presidency, as well as Trump\u2019s policies regarding\u2064 Iran, which he believes have destabilized the Middle \u2064East. Routh\u2063 criticized Trump for failing to embody the moral values he\u2062 believes a U.S. president should\u200c represent.\u200c The letter was\u200c allegedly delivered months before the assassination attempt \u2064but\u200b only \u2063came to \u2064light \u2063after Routh&#8217;s arrest.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Prosecutors for the U.S. Department of Justice <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.npr.org\/documents\/document.html?id=25171977-de-14-written-factual-proffer-in-support-of-pretrial-dete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released a letter<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/german-interior-minister-allegedly-wrote-for-far-left-antifa-publication\/\" title=\"German Interior Minister Allegedly Wrote For Far-Left Antifa Publication\">allegedly penned<\/a> by the man arrested for attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump as he golfed in West Palm Beach last week, which offers a $150,000 reward to anyone who could &ldquo;complete the job&rdquo; of murdering the Republican candidate.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I am so sorry I failed you,&rdquo; the letter addressed to the &ldquo;World&rdquo; reads. &ldquo;I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>The alleged author of the letter, Ryan Routh, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/09\/15\/democrats-did-the-opposite-of-lower-the-temperature-between-trump-assassination-attempts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">attributed<\/a> Democrat and corporate media rhetoric painting Trump as &ldquo;unfit to be anything, much less a US president,&rdquo; as motivation for his crime. He also blamed Trump&rsquo;s decision to cut ties with Iran as the primary reason the &ldquo;Middle East has unraveled.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;U.S. presidents must at bare minimum embody the moral fabric that is America and be kind, caring and selfless and always stand for humanity,&rdquo; Routh wrote, noting that &ldquo;Trump fails to understand.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.npr.org\/documents\/document.html?id=25171977-de-14-written-factual-proffer-in-support-of-pretrial-dete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">court papers<\/a>, Routh dropped off the letter in a package with an unnamed person &ldquo;several months prior&rdquo; to the golf course assassination attempt. The content of the letter, however, makes clear that the would-be assassin&rsquo;s ultimate goal in hiding in the bushes at Trump International Golf Course on September 15 was to permanently remove Trump from the planet by whatever means necessary.<\/p>\n<p>If he couldn&rsquo;t personally finish the job with his <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.npr.org\/documents\/document.html?id=25171977-de-14-written-factual-proffer-in-support-of-pretrial-dete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">scoped SKS rifle<\/a>, Routh repeatedly encouraged others, including America&rsquo;s foreign enemies, to follow through on murdering the former president. Routh expressed that \u201cU.S. presidents should at least reflect America&#8217;s moral values\u2014being kind, caring, selfless\u2014and always advocate for humanity,\u201d asserting that \u201cTrump fails to grasp this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Court documents reveal that Routh had delivered this letter within a package several months before his assassination attempt at the golf course; however, it wasn&#8217;t until days after his arrest that a civilian witness opened the box containing items such as ammunition and tools and notified law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>The emergence of this letter raises numerous questions about its context; nonetheless, its contents indicate that Routh&#8217;s primary objective during his concealment at Trump International Golf Course on September 15 was indeed to eliminate Trump permanently by any means necessary.
