A series of ad buys from multiple political action groups aims to change that this November.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the Pi&ntilde;on Post, a conservative state paper, <a href=\"https:\/\/pinonpost.com\/multi-million-dollar-nm-ad-buys-blister-heinrich-woke-harris-over-failures\/#google_vignette\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> on a new commercial campaign attempting to spoil Democrats&rsquo; expectation to maintain the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/no-spike-in-florida-coronavirus-cases-despite-no-mask-mandate\/\" title=\"No Spike in Florida Coronavirus Cases Despite No Mask Mandate\">state&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s five electoral votes for Kamala Harris and reelect Sen. Martin Heinrich. The ads from a group called Election Freedom, Inc., attack Heinrich and Harris over inflation and the incumbent border crisis.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-db34ecdcf6a6c80cd5d7bc474f189206 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-db34ecdcf6a6c80cd5d7bc474f189206\"><\/div>\n<p>Derek Dufresne, a consultant for the 501(c)(4) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/catholic-vote-president-government-has-no-authority-to-tell-americans-what-they-can-or-cannot-believe\/\" title=\"Catholic Vote President: Government Has \u2018No Authority\u2019 To Tell Americans \u2018What They Can Or Cannot Believe\u2019\">political advocacy group<\/a>, told The Federalist the New Mexico campaign was &ldquo;a significant, seven-figure investment,&rdquo; but did not provide an exact total.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are running an aggressive, complete, issue-based campaign focusing on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-kamala-harris-claims-there-is-no-question-about-her-ability-to-lead-when-bidens-brain-fails\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Kamala Harris Asserts Confidence in Her Leadership Abilities Amid Concerns About Biden&#039;s Cognitive Health\">significant policy failures<\/a> of Kamala Harris and Martin Heinrich, which will continue through November,&rdquo; Dufresne said. <\/p>\n<p>The ads highlight high food, energy, and mortgage costs in a border state <a href=\"https:\/\/www.krqe.com\/news\/crime\/fbi-says-border-crisis-is-spilling-crime-into-new-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">overwhelmed<\/a> by migration. <\/p>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/09\/06\/conservative-super-pac-hits-democrats-over-anti-catholic-bigotry-in-western-ad-blitz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ad campaign<\/a> from the group Frontiers of Freedom Action (FFA) targets Heinrich as one of three western senators hit by a multi-state media blitz highlighting Democrats&rsquo; anti-Catholic bigotry. The ads aired in both English and Spanish to target southwestern Hispanics disillusioned by the Democrats&rsquo; extremism, which conflicts with religious liberty.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-fef091d5366005f7c56a50cfb291105e fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-fef091d5366005f7c56a50cfb291105e\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;When Hispanic voters &mdash; especially Hispanics who attend Catholic Mass &mdash; come to learn about their senator&rsquo;s record of anti-Catholic bigotry, they are going to be stunned,&rdquo; George Landrith, the group&rsquo;s president, said in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZEQDVTN72A0?si=3_TqSOAznK5u-mVu&amp;enablejsapi=1\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>    <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Republicans too often forget that even though many Hispanic voters are moving towards Trump, they are likely to vote for incumbent members of Congress just because they know their names,&rdquo; Landrith added. &ldquo;But they need to be shocked into realizing just how far left-wing they are &mdash; and particularly how anti-Catholic they are.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Out of the three senators FFA targeted &mdash; Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico &mdash; Heinrich is the only one faring worse against his Republican opponent than Harris is against former President Donald Trump. Polling shows New Mexico Republican Nella Domenici, however, still faces a steep path to an upset victory, as she is running nearly 10 points down in the RealClearPolitics&rsquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/senate\/general\/2024\/new-mexico\/domenici-vs-heinrich\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aggregate<\/a> of polls, though the average only includes two surveys.<\/p>\n<p>Scant polling in New Mexico has evidently led Trump-supporting groups to reach for a surprise win in the reliably blue state. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-6a04a23012cc75f7feb0e65eaf73f855 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-6a04a23012cc75f7feb0e65eaf73f855\"><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;New Mexicans deserve an honest conversation about the issues impacting them and their families,&rdquo; Dufresne told The Federalist. &ldquo;Frankly, in a state dominated by a far-left liberal agenda, they hadn&rsquo;t had that.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Even a new political action committee started by former senior staffers for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is focusing on New Mexico as one of several blue states where Kennedy&rsquo;s independent coalition could make races competitive. Jeff Hutt, the spokesman for the new PAC, &ldquo;Make America Healthy Again,&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/09\/05\/ex-kennedy-staffers-launch-pac-to-make-america-healthy-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told<\/a> The Federalist this month the organization could &ldquo;make a big statement in this election cycle and maybe not win [them] but make those states competitive and change the electoral landscape.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/powerthefuture.com\/directors\/larry-behrens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Larry Behrens<\/a>, who was previously the communications director for former Republican New Mexico Gov.
