Kennedy Jr. isn&rsquo;t mincing words.<\/p>\n<p>The former presidential contender who has become a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump, is lashing back at word that a federal agency is investigating a 30-year-old story about Kennedy&rsquo;s treatment of a whale&rsquo;s carcass in Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<p>An agency that is charged with monitoring the globe&rsquo;s ocean waters is carrying water for the Kamala Harris election effort, Kennedy declared.<\/p>\n<p>And it&rsquo;s &ldquo;all about the weaponization of our government against political opponents,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy&rsquo;s comments came Saturday, after he revealed during an Arizona campaign event that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has launched a probe into a tale told by Kennedy&rsquo;s granddaughter that was published in a fawning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.townandcountrymag.com\/society\/tradition\/a924\/kick-kennedy-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Town and Country magazine profile<\/a> in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>  <script> \t\t\t\tif( ! getCookie( 'ff_subbed' ) ) if( typeof FFADS.replace_ict !='undefined' ) if( FFADS.replace_ict ) eval( FFADS.replace_ict ); \t\t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>In the piece, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/who-is-rfk-jr-daughter-kick-kennedy-8701334\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kathleen &ldquo;Kick&rdquo; Kennedy<\/a>, now 36, told Town and Country about a memory of when she was 6 years old and her grandfather cut the head off a dead whale that had beached in Hyhannis Port.<\/p>\n<p>After decapitating the animal, Kennedy lashed the head to the family minivan for a five-hour drive home to Mount Kisco, New York.<\/p>\n<p>The anecdote comes across as just another piece of Kennedy lore, with all the &ldquo;gosh, aren&rsquo;t those folks something&rdquo; adulation the Kennedys typically get from lifestyle publications like Town and Country.<\/p>\n<p>But since liberals <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/whales-worms-bears-panicking-dems-launch-attack-rfk-jr-trump-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">have declared war<\/a> on RJK Jr. for his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-poll-appears-show-significant-post-rfk-jr-bump-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">powerful Aug. 23 endorsement<\/a> of Trump, it&rsquo;s become a federal case &mdash; literally.<\/p>\n<p>NOAA confirmed the investigation on Monday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/09\/16\/politics\/rfk-jr-dead-whale-investigation\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation was spurred by a complaint from a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/carney-leftwing-economists-say-inflation-is-a-really-good-sign\/\" title=\"Carney: Leftwing Economists Say Inflation Is &#039;A Really Good Sign&#039;\">leftist group called<\/a> the Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund, which has already announced its endorsement of Harris in the November election.<\/p>\n<p>The group complained <a href=\"https:\/\/centeractionfund.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/CBDAF-Letter-Requesting-Investigation-of-RFK-Jr.-for-Violations-of-the-MMPA-and-ESA.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in a letter<\/a> to NOAA that Kennedy cutting off the whale&rsquo;s head &ldquo;violated the Marine Mammal Protection Act, and possibly the Endangered Species Act.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Furthermore, Mr. Kennedy&rsquo;s apparent transport of the marine mammal skull from Massachusetts to New York, and therefore across state lines, also represented a felony violation of the Lacey Act, one of the earliest wildlife conservation laws enacted by United States in 1900, which prohibits the transportation of any wildlife, dead or alive, that was reduced to possession in violation of any state, federal, or international regulation or law,&rdquo; the letter stated.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy clearly isn&rsquo;t buying the claim that a resurfaced story about an incident that occurred back in 1994 getting federal attention now was spurred by legitimate concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Neither are a lot of social media users, who called the news another sign of the &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wake-up-with-the-washington-examiner-bidens-trump-proofing-plan-and-gops-war-with-walzs-service-record-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Wake up with the Washington Examiner: Biden\u2019s \u2018Trump-proofing\u2019 plan and GOP\u2019s war with Walz\u2019s service record - Washington Examiner\">deep state&#038;rdquo<\/a>; interference in politics.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The deep state has no limit when you have been identified as an enemy of the state.
